★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Number not following sequence. Number jumped & wanted to inform/ask the guy staff but before I opened my mouth, he asked me to wait. Then I said the number jumped & not following sequence but before he understand the situation & said its following sequence & rudely asked me to wait for their calling & not to look at him like that.
Already skipped my number unfairly & I can't even inform/ask/complain??
So rude staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The website says close at 6.30pm but the office is closed at 4.00pm throughout the fasting period and close at 5.00pm after the fasting month. Please update the time after the fasting month. This info is personally from the officer at the passport counter.
Yesterday's Story (23/05/2022) : The officer at the counter said office will be open till 5.00 after Raya but office was closed at 4.00p.m.. They should be specific about their operation time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff and finding excuse to send back everyone. People were sent back because of hair colour eventough there is no written rule that coloured hair is prohibited for Malaysian passport.
Most of the staffs are not wearing mask.
Small nose piercing was told to be taken off while in my previous passport(UTC IPOH) small nose stud is not a problem.
Worst service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never ever improvements not matter how the service like beg them to provide passport renewal. Please priority local Malaysian as we are the tax payers.
Why make ppls in suffer to waiting long queue there and pls plan better solution.
P/s: 1pm-2pm is lunch break and everyone must go out from the building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 25th March: Hi people, if you want to renew your passport, please first make online appointment and print out the appointment paper. There is no walk in allowed to renew your passport until April 1st. I tried my luck there and unfortunately I left with old passport.
If you need it urgently, try to apply online. After the payment, you need to print the receipt. Please check the date on the receipt to collect your passport. If you do it before 3pm, then you can collect it on the same day. If you do it after 3pm, you need to go there on the next day,because you will need to wait for one hour to collect the renewed passport.
Or you can choose to make online appointment. The latest appointment date in Seberang jaya office is on 18 April or later. You may want to search the island utc komtar office, sometimes they will have closer date for appointment.
By the way, the office is open at 8am, you can arrive early to park your car and line up outside. Maintain SOP, take care. Hope this helps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service. Even though long queue are waiting, only 1-3 counters are opened for the passport application. And the officers announced earlier that the queue have to wait for 3-4 hours. Please improve your service by creating a row for senior citizens and group travellers. The queue started from 7:15 am but the counter opened at 8:00 am but the website shows that the office will be starting to operate at 7:30 am. Nobody was there to assist the customers too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw a lot of complaints on this office, but so far my 2 experiences to renew the passport is great, I can get my passport within 2 hours and I really appreciate that. I heard my friend in Singapore need to spend few weeks to wait for passport renewal. So Malaysian please be thankful and appreciate the hard work of the staffs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please improve your system, take a number need long queue?
1) Place a ticket counter outside the door like what bank did, and assign just 1 staff to assist.
2) since everyone compulsory to apply passport online, put more counter to penerimanan. Now I see only 1 penerimanan.
We are tax payer, we ok to wait but our work doesn't ok to wait us.
