Tourists did not come due to pandemic since early 2020, so the service was also affected. Boat owners need to buy insurance, RM1,000 a year as a condition for renewing the boat license and had to comply to ensure that the boat remained operational.
Life is getting tougher for the operators. However since recently it was opened after MCO business is getting better.
