This is where all the interchange happened. Although it is a bit complicated as the have two waiting area, one is newer and the other one is older. It's hard for first timer to determine where should they wait for the bus. There is still some improvement to make such as all the clear guide board to allow the first timer to identify where should the wait for the bus.

I took the photos in the morning, after i slept in surau after 6 a.m. This place has free shuttle bus to several places. The location is very strategic because i think georgetown is small island too, it has ferry to across to Butterworth. I have unforgettable memories with my new friends in Penang. I just spent 1 day, but i have so much friends in here. And my new friends accompanied me until ferry will depart, and we had hug like close best friends. I'll visit penang again very soooooon

Nice jetty ride across the channel. A view that one can't see if we're driving across via the bridges. It's relaxing not needing to drive but one gets to enjoy the sea breeze as well as the beautiful view.

This is the entry port into Penang island for vehicles and pedestrians. Once the only link to the mainland, today it's less popular because of the long waiting time for the ferry. But for pedestrians it's still the only option. It links George Town on the island to Butterworth on the mainland, where the train station, express bus terminal and taxi station are. A good idea is to take the ferry to enjoy the view.

Government should really take action to improve and increase the ferry here. It takes more than 2 hours to get to the other side in peak hours.

You can take bus here. But the bus number 401E is rare. I waiting here for one hour. You can travel by bus here. And the cost is cheap. About 2.5 RM per person.

The now new look for Ferry services from Georgetown, Penang island to mainland Butterworth jetty. Not like before been upgraded and renovation bit chance not much still no escalator for the people and special need can be improved for more friendly services...more sign needed as for reference for visitor... as for pedestrians came by after walking still need to wait .... Before this old ferry operation big ferry carry car and motorcycle now small sized that loaded people only carry passenger from terminal mainland to island .... take New norm SOP as follow....not much crowds coz not at peak hours....
