I have tried many other otak-otak brand in Muar .. but their otak-otak still the best (personal preferences) ???
Whenever I in Melaka or Muar , I will definitely drop by to replenish my otak-otak stock in my fridge at home.
They sell few type of Otak Otak Product.
Otak-otak is a grilled fish cake made of ground fish meat mixed with tapioca starch and spices.
The 1st packaging is frozen type in rectangular shape packed in a transparent plastic semi hard box. You can choose from otak-otak with Fish.. Crab meat... squid.. or clams.
This is best to steam and as one of of the dish for lunch or dinner with rice. Normally it also available in Chinese restaurant.
The second type is the individual pack in coconut tree leaf ( Frozen)..and this is best to be BBQ or bake in oven.. they also sell ready to eat (BBQ to order). This will be in 1 bite size as snaks.
It also come in 4 type ...fish.. crab meat... squid..and clams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you like Muar otak, this is one of the place to get. They have different varieties, 190g and 240g packs. It's right at the end, sometimes got queue, but very fast, write down your orders in the form and they will pack for you. can buy styrofoam boxes there or bring your own.
