β β β β β VERY TINY PORTIONS !
IF YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER PLACE. GO AGEAD
Iβm forced to give a 1 star to this famous duck rice.
My family ate there , and order a 1 portion duck rice take away.
But the quantity of duck meat they include is just 6 to 7slices. And most of the slices are bones.
WHATA DISAPPOINTMENT. I couldnβt believe their portions are so stingy.

β β β β β We came here at 3pm on a Tuesday and ordered half a duck and εΈθ, total came up to RM37 with 2 plates of rice. The braised duck was a bit tough and not braised long enough. The εΈθ was okay.

β β β β β This is a great place for braised duck in the evenings - have been coming here on and off for >20 years - that they are still drawing a regular crowd years on says a lot about the food here.
The delicious duck served here are good sized and perhaps meatier when compared with the roast variety served elsewhere. Also great as takeaway to supplement that family gathering you have planned!?

β β β β β One of the best prawn noodles in Petaling Jaya.
Taste delicious with many ingredients (small prawns, one whole egg, pork slices).
Price is RM 9/bowl.
The wanton noodle is good as well.
The wanton soup is superb.
Price is RM 8/bowl.

β β β β β Out of it's 44-year history, I have frequented this place for 40 years, and still do, which is probably testament enough as to how good the Teochew-style braised duck is.
Located just next to UOB at State in PJ, the duck rice, which starts from 3:30pm in the afternoon gets to enjoy the availability of parking in the evenings and night, which, during the course of a normal business day, is always an impossibility.
The reason why so many tables and chairs are placed outdoors is due to the lack of space indoors. As there are only about 5 ot 6 tables inside, it's also much cooler to dine alfresco, unless weather takes a bad turn.
The braised duck is one of the best ever, hands down, I have ever tasted. Succulent, juicy and tender duck meat bathed in the sauce which is never too salty, unlike other places, is the highlight. You can also add on other dishes as well, including the duck intestines, braised mushroom, pig trotters, vegetables, braised hard boiled eggs and much more.
There's also double boiled soups now as advertised on a banner just outside the shop, which I didn't notice until as I was walking away.
The stall is large, taking up almost 1/3 or the entire coffee shop. With its large number of helpers, food arrives quickly after ordering. You also have a choice of either rice or porridge to go with your dishes. I've always preferred the rice, since it's very much like the ones from chicken rice stalls. The porridge is also a popular item, topped with some sesame oil and soya sauce.
The pictures attached to my review are from a recent visit with 4 other friends. With all this food, the bill amounted to RM101, only RM20 per pax for the amount that we had, which, we all agreed, was super reasonable.
In the evenings, there's also a satay stall which serves pretty good satay as well. Give it a try too.

β β β β β Best braised duck Ive ever had.
Rmbr to order their mushroom and salted vegetable too! I prefer to eat with porridge instead of rice.
Their soups was good too. But if you want to eat more duck you can skip to order soup ?

β β β β β A pleasant porridge or rice dinner for a light and authentic braised duck meal. Price wise it is affordable and the food quality is excellent. There is a satay stall operating right outside the shop as well. Parking space is decent at the back of the shop.
