★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mukut Village has beautiful nature and lots of potential for tourists, but sadly it is quite run down and untidy: a bit like a forgotten ghost-town... Villagers were a bit unfriendly (maybe because we wanted lunch during Ramadan?) the mosque on the other hand is brand new and sparkling clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to Salang and ABC but I think Kampung Mukut is the hidden gem of Tioman Island!!! Juara Mutiara Resort’s ferry can direct come to this place from Mersing.
