★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best chalet among all chalets at Tanjung Resang. I drove from end to end and visited sea front chalets. Half were closed on the weekday, while other half wasn't too keen. Sukalayar stood out because they had full time staff manning the place and always ready. Excellent service. Clean and tidy room, clean and tidy exterior too. I appreciate the common space too, mom and dad can sit there to do their stuff if needed. Would definitely return again in the future. Price wise, very reasonable. Rooms with AC & water heater. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Sukalayar Inn and Chalet last week with friends from Singapore. Rooms are clean and rather nice. However, we find that the beach is full of rubbish! There is a marine research centre next to Sukalayar. Nobody seems to care about the state of the beach at all. We do enjoy going to Malaysia but with the current state of the beaches and rivers, we will advise people not to go to these places. Each of us brought a bag full of rubbish for proper disposal in Mersing town

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ went on a school trip, the resort was ok but quite basic. the rooms were basic and didn't seem as if they were that taken care off as my bed had a big dip in it and the bunk bed on top swayed back and forth dangerously whenever u rolled over. Also we had an ant infestation in the room and the side draw beside the bed was dirty and filled with dust as if it had not been cleaned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and clean local resort where we stayed on a school trip. Rooms are comfy and basic. You can enjoy water sports, beach volley and a good walk on the beach. Saying that, the beach has rubbish but this was unfortunately expected. There is also no 7-eleven or similar close. If you need anything more than soft drinks or Milo, you have to go to Mersing for shopping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nice getaway place. with bbq pit/veranda. A bit expensive for the bbq area rental, but was well prepared. Also provided with the charcoal. I like to clean up the homestay after stayimg, if the owners could provide a mop, it would have been better for me. Till next time, tq Suka Layar. A nice experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have added this into one of my favourite places. Clean sheet, tiled bedroom and bathroom, well-mowed lawn, and friendly staff. They helped us set up the bbq pit and helped arranged for our breakfast,which was amazing. The beach is right in front of the chalet and it has a flat bed, making it children friendly. I recommend this place and hope to come again during monsoon. I like to try the blo-kart. Thank you Sukalayar, it was a weekend well-spent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having a FD here..... 3D2N very fantastic. So privacy. The beach is so beautiful. Booked Front Cottage & Rear Cottage. Kebersihan bilik & persekitaran yg terjaga... Even though we booked 6 room, we still asked owner permission for camping for more valuable memory & experience. TQ to the management.
