Great experience dining here. The Omakase dinner is excellent. I enjoyed every dish. I especially like the grilled Miyazaki wahyu, tender and melt in mouth. We sat at kitchen counter, the chefs explained every single dish and friendly to guests.

New Japanese resto in town located in Pulau Tikus area. Great food with Osaka culinary influence, simple but good. Nice plating, tasting menu, friendly and helpful staffs and Chef Arakawa (served with his personal hospitality); very friendly. We order Mini Omakase set, Sashimi gozen and Sukiyaki gozen ala carte (please check with the Chef). Ground floor is open kitchen and table counter, 1st floor more dining tables. Dinner menu has more to offer than lunch. Reservation is required. Happy with great lunch! Very recommended!

Good environment, friendly service. But a good chef doesn't mean can satisfy all the clients. I'm one of the odd one. So sad and unlucky. We have ordered mini Omakasi corse for lunch. The apptizer was good. Follow by Sashimi, the ingredients was good but I find it not chill enough. It can't bring out the fullness of the sweetness and the freshness of the Sashimi. Tamagoyaki was good. It was soft and tender, especially the sauce so refreshing . It just reminds me what I had in Japan. Grill pork belly. The taste was good but I found it too tick for my liking. Tempura, was OK but I don't like the taste of the fish. It tastes something like ??mud? Sushi rice, the taste the texture was nice but I don't like the temperature of the food. Not warm either chill. Lastly plum sherbet. Yummy and delicious. A part of good ingredients, time management of cooking and serving are very important too. A little disappointed . Being looking forward to come and try since can't travel to Japan.

Serves very authentic Japanese cuisine. The omakase lunch was very good. The dishes for this menu was selected and prepared by Chef Arakawa himself. He uses only the freshest ingredients sourced at the local markets. The shashimi is of course imported from Japan. Had a lovely lunch prepared by the chef. Yummy.

Excellent restaurant serving omakase meal. Airflown sushi was fresh!!! Wonderful experience dining in, highly recommended. Chef specialty Wagyu Tendon Stew was amazing, very tasty and texture was so soft it melts in your mouth with every bite. Will return again ?

I'm an omakase virgin, and was very fortunate to read about this place in another reviewer's scathing review of a different Japanese restaurant. After dining here, I shall always fondly remember this place as the restaurant that gave me my first omakase experience without me having to break the bank. I had made reservations earlier and was lucky to find a parking spot nearby (please give yourself ample time to find parking as parking spots are very limited around the area). My wife and I were greeted promptly when we slid open the door, and we were ushered to our place at the counter with a clear view of the kitchen. The ambiance was excellent with warm lighting, clean, simple decor and light wooden panels. The Head Chef, Arakawa sensei runs his kitchen behind the counter like a tight ship, constantly giving orders to his crew and consistently checking the quality of the food prior to it being served to his guests. Every course in my Omakase meal was served immaculately with clear introductions and descriptions. The presentation and taste of each course was sublime starting with a chilled appetizer of seasonal veggies and baby squid, followed by very fresh sashimi, a steamed dumpling with pork and chives, a grilled amberjack collar (perfectly seasoned), a shrimp croquette and the main entree which was Unadon Tamago (grilled eel on a bed of rice accompanied with egg). I made sure I took sips of Sake in between courses and mouthfuls to reset my palette so as to not mix flavors the chef did not intend. My meal was wrapped up by a simple but very flavorful matcha ice cream with adzuki topping, and a wrapped sweet dumpling with black sesame paste filling. I absolutely enjoyed myself, and I do see myself coming back whenever I feel like giving myself a special gastronomic treat in the future.
