β β β β β Delicious authentic Indian food. Best to make reservations before coming. Their tandoori chicken is yummy and not to be missed. Masala paneer is another dish not to be missed. They do serve wine and beer here.

β β β β β A very cozy interior! Wasnβt a problem on getting a table as we came at 6.30pm
Food here was amazing. Had a KACHUMBER: Very similar to the 1s in india ,goes well with the mint sauce .CHICKEN TANDOORI : juicy , a little crisp to it , the spices on it was top notch β¨, got me to get a 2nd plate?. DHAL was 10/10 . CHICKEN MOGULAI: The curry was phenomenal ? it was mumβs favourite, love the fact it was boneless , YOU have to eat it with the tandoori roti!! A good combination ????
THE KULFI was so good , the almonds on top?
10/10
The owner (kashmir) such a good lad , very friendly ?

β β β β β Rather overpriced for a stuffy traditional corner eatery.
That said, they do serve up some of the most authentic Northern Indian cuisine. Their tandoori chicken is pretty outstanding, but avoid the prawns (they charge RM12.50 per prawn!). The mutton is one of the most succulent I've had. Ingredients are fresh and the curries are reasonably spicy, even the dal. Actually it felt a little too spicy. Also the portion size is sadly lacking - surely there's no need to be stingy with curries and sauces!
Service is fairly good and the manager is rather friendly, but tends to hover quite a bit considering the place isn't that big and we're in the corner so it's fairly obvious when you keep coming over to check on us.
Environment is fairly cosy and hygiene is alright - some ambient music would seal the deal. However it's still a far cry from fine dine Indian, which is what it tries to be. Improve the standards then you can justify charging prices like that.

β β β β β Have a wonderful time at this restaurant, the dishes recommended by Mr. Mohan the owner of this restaurant is fantastic.
Food quality is above average. Try to make a reservation as tables are limited.

β β β β β Iβm a big fan of Indian food. Always try at least one from every city I visited. So far, this is the worst ever Indian food from my experience. Their Naans were basically pizza dough. Saffron rice was dry and the curries had unbelievably weird tastes. Eating Indian food has always been one of my favorite things but not this time.

β β β β β Food is not at all good. Yesterday we ordered biriyani and it didn't even taste like biriyani. Tasted like boiled rice and chicken just mixed together. Food is overpriced too. We expect at least decent food for the price we are paying. Even the chicken dish that we ordered was not up to the mark. Not recommended from my side. There are plenty of other good restaurants to try out in Georgetown, town.

The Tandoori chicken is marinated with the right spices and cook to perfection.....
The Muttom Vindaloo is rich in flavour.....
The Basmati Saffrom Rice smell good.....
Paired them with a glass of Guinness is heavenly.....
