The food portion is small, the cuisine has more unique variety with fusion nyonya flavour. Good place to dine out if you are at Desa Park City
I preferred my visit to Kam Cheng at Melacca, I ordered different dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's hard to find peranakan food that's modernised. Everywhere we go, they are more traditional type so it's good to find something new for a change. Portion-wise a bit small but enough for 3-4 pax so bigger group must order another portion. Not a problem for me though because the flavours hit the right spot and I can order more varieties to try.
Brought my own wine and they charge a reasonable corkage of RM30 for it, which I was happy to pay. Love the dry Laksa, Nyonya fried rice, Babi Assam, pork satay and their ayam cili garam.
The whole premise uses air cooler which is good due to the pandemic and Alfresco area is very nice to sit down and dine in the evening when the whole Arkadia gets busy. Did I say that I like the murals?

Very nice open concept restaurant. Good Service & food well presented..
The Pork Ponteh it is not braised long enough, wasn’t flavorful, & a bit overly with chopped garlic. Felt the price a bit on the high side with such small portion & 2 slices of pork @rm39. Rice extra RM3.
The lemak paku & the sambal ladies fingers were very tasty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing wow about the food although the price is wow. Does not taste or look authentic either. Hospitality ethics can be improved. E.g. with such price tag for their food, I expected them to tell me what is not available beforehand, instead of me ordering 2 items, only to be told 'not available'. And no need to be in a hurry that you dropped the serving spoon.
