A must visit museum when you are in Alor Star Kedah. A knowledgeable place regarding paddy in one stop center.

Visitor toilet is in different building. Quite far from the main building and not well maintain. Many thing to see. Recommended around 1 to 1 and half hours to spend time here.

The environment is good, building facade looks good, but nothing too much to be seen inside the museum despite the entrance fee is RM5/Adult. One interesting fact is that the leaflet is provided in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese language and Bahasa Siam. Toilet is placed quite a distance away from the building.

Do stop by Kedah Paddy Museum if you want to know more about history of rice. Nothing much in there but contain some historical artifact for the rice plantation. Rm5 per entrance for adult.

Last visit was in 2016. After 6 years there are some upgrade - traditional games area & nice places for photo. The panorama view - platform sometimes move and suddenly halted. Entrance at rm5 for adult and rm2 for children. Lots of parking. Toilet outside the building - inconvenienced.

Was sold by the idea of 360 panoramic paddy field view. But it was my fault for not reading the fine prints- it is just a 360 painting of paddy filed view. Exhibition could have been more interesting, its too plain. Feels like a painting gallery rather than paddy museum. No toilet inside, only outside right at the exit of the museum.

A great place to learn about paddy and rice. The exhibitions are quite extensive. They have a revolving platform at the top floor with a 360 degrees diorama, which is very beautifully drawn mural. Entrance fee is five ringgit. Located in the middle of paddy fields and walking distance from Mount Keriang, it is very windy. Unfortunately, the day we went the air-con was down and the revolving platform was not working. They have a merchandise store but not much options. Hope the management can rectify this.
