★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The architecture of the top pagoda is just brilliant. If you don't not wish to take stairs, the cable car rides are available 16ringgit per adults. There are some maintenance maybe required maybe due to 2 years of covid. Still a must go place if you visit penang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet in the 3rd week of Dec21 (phase 4 mco). Cool breeze, sun-less adventure made walking around the area, temple to temple visits and climbing the 7-storey old pagoda a pleasant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. This is when CNY 2022 lights installation. Car parking is available with charge around RM 3. No entrance fee. If you couldn’t climb, you can use lift to go up(charges applicable which I didn’t use) . To the shops at upstairs, you need to pay RM2 per person for entry fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kek Lok Si Temple is a must stop place if you are in Penang. Historical temple with huge statue and lots of breathing view from the top of the hill. There is also a mini cable car to bring you from the top to the 3rd station. Please do not litter and throw cigarette buts into flower pot! So irresponsible!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple regarded as the most famous on the Island. Built in 1890, over a plot of an area of 12 hectares (30 acres), it is said to be the largest Buddhist temple in the country.
Further read, this temple is a pilgrimage place of worship for neighboring Southeast Asian countries.
Do visit if you come to Penang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most recognized Chinese temple in Malaysia. Its a good picnic spot for families. The deities are huge and amazing. Parking is bit of a challenge on the peak days. Many days lower ground parking is closed for public. If anyone wants, they can visit air hitam dam which is 2 kms ahead of the temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temples, easier to drive to visit the Giant Kuan Yin, and then to the pagoda. Big temples .. lots of Buddha statues.
Also, visited and climb to the top of pagoda. Will be great if they can maintain the halls of the pagoda better ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the largest and yet well maintained Buddhist temples in Malaysia. The temple complex has several prayer halls alongside gardens, and of course the famous statue of Guanyin.
While the temple has excellent facilities to ferry visitors from one site to another, it is recommended to walk around and explore instead. The temple has a rich history that must be experienced first hand.
