★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a surprise to enter Kenshin thanks to its cool ambiance and lush seating. The Saturday that I visited saw only a small crowd which I'm grateful for. The servers were attentive and friendly while the drinks are creative and tasty thanks to its many Asian influences. Its take on traditional Asian drinks like Jamu but adding an alcoholic twist is by far some of the best I've tasted in KL. Plus it's a speakeasy with an unassuming door next to Starbucks, these kinds of places intrigue me anyway. I bet this is a nice place for after work drinks... Will try soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small “Samurai” themed speakeasy bar replaces Tate. Entrance is to the right of Starbucks on the ground floor, just push the hidden door to get in. The cocktails are tasty, beautifully garnished, and inspired by local beverages. Ventilation could be improved as they allow customers to smoke indoors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered a new bar had replaced Tates. The menu is greatly influenced by local ingredients in this region. Friendly people who seemed very enthusiastic to share their passion for a good cocktail with you. Looking forward to try everything on their menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place replaces Tate, previously one of the better speakeasy in KL.
Unfortunately, the cocktail I had was certainly not up to par and... leaving a feedback to the bartender who made the drink did not help either as he was not open for feedback. The drink I've ordered, was not worth the price considering that there was just not much effort. Though, I would definitely be up for a second visit since it's only one cocktail I've tried so it may not be very fair either. Who knows it may be better the next time - but I will never get the dude with long hair to mix it for me because he did not do a good job/not even willing to listen to customer's feedback the last time.
However, I do like the creativity of the menu, provided that the drink has to be good too.
As for the ventilation, it is actually quite bad. For non-smokers it is a torture to be in for a long period of time. Hopefully it'll improve over time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Groovy little speakeasy hidden inside Intermark mall. Great selection of scotch and other spirits, reasonable options for cocktails. Only issue is the lack o FB ventilation with ppl smoking inside.
