★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the cosy setting of this small restaurant and lady boss is friendly. Food was good and fresh. Price wise a little expensive. I shared what we had. Beef salad (beef is so fresh and nicely done medium), soba fish set, avocado sushi (?) and chicken katsu (a bit disappointing).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best Japanese restaurant that I've been to. Sake sashimi, grilled saba, butteryaki prawn, aussie beef hotplate, ebi don are superb. Price is on the steep side but totally worth it. The hidden gem of Jalan Ampang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Up on the 3rd floor of the Great Eastern Mall - Kiku is worth a visit. Especially for families who want to book an enclosure for themselves and enjoy the traditional sit down meal.
We had a beef salad, maki rolls and set meal with Saba fish. Topped it with chicken and leek on skewers. All in all a decent fare. Price seemed about 20% higher than what I would pay for the fare. The set meal, salad and rolls were very good. The chicken skewers not great. Green tea comes with free refills
So if you want a new Japanese experience it’s worth a go :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price is definitely steeper, but for the great food, its worth it. The food quality and taste is definitely better than other restaurants. Wide array of choices too! Suitable for young and old since they hv burgers.
Grilled squid had a nice smoky taste. Sushi and fried food was super nice. Udon was cooked perfectly too! Really nailed it for everything we ordered, but the beef tepanyaki was salty.
Tho they only had 2 staff during new years eve, but they managed to serve us well.
