β β β β β This restaurant is so underrated like OMG they served the most authentic korean dishes EVER ! Like seriously people should try their food at least once in their lifetime coz it was SOO GOOD and PERFECTLY SEASONED ! My ultimate fav is of course their Yukgaejang (beef stew in kimchi), eaten with their fluffy purple rice after a long day at work! HEAVENLY !!!! I am just so glad that this restaurant is still here after all that covid thing:'( Please stay on longer and thank you for all the GOOD FOOD ! Hwaiting ! Love, Dr Zy, Hosp Shah Alam

Lack of authenticity and originality of Korean food. The kimchi doesn't taste good. They fusion it the wrong way (chilli seeds in kimchi? seriously? seaweed soup using tauchu, really?) Although you can refill the banchan (side dishes), but they really control the portion. Compared to other Korean restaurant in Malaysia, I think they really need to improve a lot. The only original Korean flavor I ordered tonight is the Sikhye drink (obviously).
Ambience: 4/5
A nice upgrade on brighter interiors, love the soothing music sound
Service: 3/5
Nothing special.
Verdict: Will ban it for a while, until they improve their food - kohyang stands for "hometown", referring to the traditional taste of Hansik, sadly the current status doesn't reflect the "kohyang-ness" at all.

β β β β β Had the jajangmyeon, army stew and seafood pancake. The jajangmyeon gravy was definitely too diluted and tasted really bland. It was cooked with carrot, potato, onion, and awfully little minced chicken. Army stew was quite flavourful but prefer it to be more spicy though. The texture of the pancake was just nice, chewy and crispy. Overall experience was average.

β β β β β Very long waiting time. When we arrived the restaurant, there's only one customer sitting inside. We (3 of us) have been waiting for more than 30 minutes for the food to be served. Appreciate if the restaurant can improve the speed to prepare the food. It will delay other people's schedule.
