★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just went this place for second opinion for my knee. i bring my mri scan for the doctor checking but don't know the doctor ask me for the x -ray. after x-ray then go back to the doctor told me that my knee is patellar injured while my mri scan is tendon tear and meniscus problem. The doctor ask me to do a stem cell. Won't recommend to go this place that for unprofessional doctor and highly cost with no other solution beside stem cell.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an overpriced clinic which not just didn't diagnose my injury well they 'suggested' me an even overpriced treatment which is not safe. My case was simply Chronic overuse conditions on my kneecap and it can be treated with much cheaper and safer way than what they advised. People get fascinated by the fancy clinic view and new machines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nurses Lack Professionalism
Visited the hospital due to my husband emergency slip disc situation on 26 June. The doctor recommended MRI to confirm the diagnosis hence my hubby needed to change to proceed with the examination.
After the MRI, nurse lead my husband back to the changing room area. Instead of letting him change in the room she told my husband and me (I was holding his clothes) that he has to go and change in the toilet which is at the end of the hall. Even when I requested to just change in the changing room (which is the obvious choice for this purpose), she insisted we go to the toilet. When I looked into the dark Changing Room 2, it was occupied by 2 nurses that are playing on their phones. This is the reason a patient in so much pain was made to walk further! When the nurse walked away and I just on the light on Changing Room 3 and let my husband changed there.
I confronted the nurse on the incident, she defended that she was not the one playing with the phone and she didn’t really see what her mistake was. This is the real problem of a nurse that is not aware that their duty is to “care for the sick”. I have spoken to one of the supervisor and she informed me that she will ask someone from the marketing department to call me back but I have not receive any call since then (26 June till 15 July)
It is important that your team of nurses know their basic duty, CARE for the sick. We do not need to be treated like VIP but just the minimum requirement will do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t judge a book by its COVER. KLSMC may not have the look and feel of other larger and famous hospitals, it is every bit as good as them, maybe even better. When I first visited this medical center that mainly treat anything and everything that goes wrong with our BONE, I was pleasantly surprised by what’s in it -advanced equipment, experienced and talented specialists, well trained and friendly nurses.
I injured my ankle a week ago from falling from a 10-foot ladder while doing pre-CNY house cleaning, and I was in so much pain that I had a “white out”. A MD relative of my wife recommended Dr.Low Tze Choong and that was the first time I heard of KLSMC. Dr.Low diagnosed and treated the multiple fractures of the heel bone of my ankle with professional care, and he patiently explained his treatment plan, with multiple CT scan images of my ankle. The surgery was uneventful, which meant everything went according to plan, precisely the way we wanted it. Anesthesiologist Dr.Raja, another super friendly doctor, did a good job because I slept well and didn’t feel any pain during surgery.
Dr.Low Tze Choong is, besides being an experienced, knowledgeable and friendly Orthopedic Surgeon, the best doctor in PAIN Management as well. If you are looking for a doctor who can take the pain from injury away, care about you and “feel” the pain you’re in, and make sure PAIN IS NOT PART OF THE TREATMENT AND RECOVERY PROCESS, look no further than KLSMC.
Lastly, I am puzzled by the negative reviews given to this place. I hope the experience that I share with y’all, and the honest and independent review that I write will help you make a better decision in selecting a treatment place.
