Clean and huge chalet by the sea. Nice buffet style barbaque dinner and offer short kelong tour. You get to play with fireworks. An experience for the kiddo from Singapore. Forget about wifi, not working but good for family bonding without distraction.

If you're looking for a place to relax and do nothing else, this is the place for you. Chalets(rooms) are built over the water on stilts. Most rooms are air-conditioned. Charges include transport, room and board and a 20-minute boat ride (if you want) to a floating fish farm. You'll never go hungry here. Optionals include massages and shopping for local products like prawn crackers, belacan, agar-agar and chilli paste.

》DETAILED REVIEW BELOW《 A nice challet with a number of facilities, and within close range of the local attractions. A good place for a large family trip to Kukup ___________________________________________ Rooms: ●●●●● A lot of bedrooms in each apartment, each with 4 beds. The toilet is very big and has as many as 6 cubicles! The living room comes with a mahjong table and a Karaoke set that has international selection of music. Food: ●●●●○ The food is not the best but the dinner is quite nice. The food served changes each day of the week. The food is free flow, and its all-you-can-eat. For 24 hours there will be drinks provided. (I can't confirm that drinks are available at times past 12 midnight as they only refill in the daytime) Amenities: ●●●●○ There is this bridge at the end of the challet where you can fish in the evening, there is a chance of catching a rather big fish. You can also get a ride on their mini truck to the nearby places, the ride through the street is nice and windy. However, I MUST WARN that for Wi-Fi lovers you have to try your luck as some rooms in the challet have a weak connection. ___________________________________________■ Things to do around there ■ There is really not a lot to do in Kukup, but there are some things which people go there for: 》Kukup Island (I have a full review in the location itself) Kukup Island is a nice place to walk around and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. 》Local fish farm There are boat rides to the local fish farm. There you can see the fish they raise and the people there will also teach you about the fish, which is an eye opener and pretty good learning experience.

It was a horrible stay at this resort 1) very tiny room, barely can sleep for 2, 2) bathroom is not clean and small 3) there are more than 20 rooms at the second floor where I stayed, only 2 emergency exit door at 2 ends. It is a bid safety issue in order for so many people to escape at these exits 4) very noisy background, it is okay to have personal K room, but the open air Karaoke is unbearable 5) The resort is generally messy, dirty, rubbish are everywhere, I can't find any value of staying here at all.

Disappointed with the place and also not worth the price paid of RM150 per head. Meals were really average and seafood provided was very little and not fresh. No crabs were on the menu which was really disappointing. They gave things like Bak Kua, fried meat dumplings, chili sotong(seems frozen) and some other non seafood items. Worse of all, 3 family members had diarrhea after dinner. Certainly not worth the trip.
