★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Environment is amazing! Very impressive.
Unfortunately we got there late and quite a lot of things were sold out.
Food was good and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for an Instagramable location, this place is the place to be.
However, if you want to hang out with your family to catch-up over yum cha session, I wouldn't recommend this place as they are usually crowded and they have a time limit of only 1.5 hours per visit. We tried to book but was told that walk-ins only during peak hours.
Not your regular dimsum place. Some dimsums are good and some are just so-so for the price you pay. One of the plus is that the hor yip fun is made with Japanese rice and that's a plus for me for easy digestion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a place to take photo, to enjoy the heritage ambient, to see the grand & fine dining way to serve dim sum. But it’s not a place to enjoy dim sum. Dim sum is a culture that to gather the family, chit chat, enjoy the morning cup of tea, but it’s price a sky high for a pot of hot tea, people can spend for it, but not worth of it. People might still come, but just to take photo or to entertain guest, not a regular place for dim sum (unless u r super rich).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is delicious though you will need more than 1 portion if there are more than 3-4 pax. Reservations are a must as it is busy most times. Price is high. Beautiful setting, something different.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very unique dim sum experience unlike others. Make sure you order those with thumbs up and they are the unique ones. Food is slightly pricey but with the dining experience, good quality I think worth every penny. Make sure you rsvp

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Premium dim sum prices that comes with nice ambience and some instagramable spots. Some of the dishes are quite good such as the golden radish cake, phoenix balls and crystal osmanthus jelly. Misses would be the egg tart and glutinous rice with chicken, that surprisingly was served with tomatoes and cucumber (a first in my dining experience). Tea prices may be steep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. The ambience draws you right in and whats even better is that the food tastes aa good as it looks. Staff are very friendly and welcoming as well. A little on the pricey side but its definitely worth it. The tea especially, but they actually keep it coming so its worth it. Excellent quality and variety of chinese teas. I always get disappointed when presentation is better than taste. Luckily this was not the case. They are only open till 5pm, so try to get in by 3.30 the latest to really take your time and enjoy the whole experience of the place . They even have some frozen take aways. Great place to enjoy with family and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You might be paying a slight premium for Dim Sum and traditional Chinese tea. But this tea house is a great spot for food and relaxing with friends and family whilst having some really exquisite calming teas.
After eating, my party stayed did just that whilst soaking up the beautiful environment that this restaurant has created using the buildings old architecture. This is a place I’d recommending coming for visitors to Penang. But make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment as this place does get busy
