★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty Keow Tiao with tremendously long history. Simple but tasty local food. My uncle, now 60+ eat this since young! This is my maternal grandmother parents quartier. They used to stay in Beach Street parallel to Victoria Road.
In the 1970+ it's 50 cents per bowl!
Visit this place at night, they only operate at night.
Together with the Indian fried Noodle and Char Hor Fun. Long historic local food stall by the street. Old school Penang shop house coffee shop. Must try for all travelers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EXCELLENT WAN TAN MEE for RM3 in GEORGETOWN, Penang!!!!!
We were just passing by on a lazy Saturday morning when we noticed this coffeeshop nestled in a quiet corner of Georgetown. And it was full people. Most looked local and regulars. We were amazed that the wan tan mee cost just RM3 for a small (but still substantial) bowl and RM3.80 for a big bowl. I thought the noodles were quite good though my wife thought they were average. But both of us agreed that the wantans were good and the overall taste above average. Coffee and drinks prices were standard. One lady on a motorbike had pre-ordered & she got impatient when her takeaway wasn't immediately ready for collection. It wasn't that bad, she only had to wait a minute. Overall impressions of this place is that it is good and almost full at 8.30am but still enough room.
SUMMARY: GOOD & CHEAP. LOCAL FAVOURITE KOPITIAM!! :)
