This place is one of the world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO. Lots of history to learn in this place and heaps of amazing craftsmanship n detailed Chinese arts one can appreciate China outside of China. Don't forget to go through the downstairs exhibition room below the main temple as you can learn how Chinese migrants resist to survive in Pinang since their arrival. Totally worth the value of entrance fees of 10 MYR.

Beautiful temple, well worth visiting and just RM10 entry fee. The Temple has a main building then a second museum building which provides the historical perspective of how the temple came to be built here by the Cheah Clan who migrated here from China. There are toilets here, but no Wheelchair access to the first floor.

This place seems like a convent as we approach. It has a residential complex upfront. Inside there is a museum, a library, food shop, few amenities. This temple is extremely ornate, very well maintained. Inside there is low light, so photographers be aware. There is silence and quiet pervading, great for the eyes and the mind.....

This feels like a stroll in one of the ancient mansion only to be found in China. It is well kept and full of stories. The craft arts on the roof, wall, door and windows show the status of the family and wealth. Entrance fee is RM10. It's definitely worth more than what you've paid.

10$ entrance fee to Leong san tong khoo kongsi. I think it is better to book a tour guide here, which we regretted not doing. There are things missed and not understood if you just wander around by yourselves. The large temple in the Center looks very interesting though!

Beautiful, well-preserved compound that provides a wonderful reference of the Khoo clan's heritage, past and present. There's a museum area on the ground floor that I recommend visiting before you head up the stairs to the second floor - it provides necessary context to a lot of what you'll see. The space is wonderfully ornate, and the entrance fee of RM10 is worth it to look at the main building alone. Highly recommended!
