The guide was passionate and knowledgeable but the museum really just didn't have much to see. I was out in 15 minutes. The entry fee is RM5 so I guess it wasn't too expensive at least.

Great to set foot where a piece of history of a revolutionary legend once lived and strategized to form a new nation, putting tiny Penang in significance towards that. The rest, they say, is history!

Visited back in Jan. This building is the house used by the Chinese revolutionary, Sun Yat Sen, when he lived in Penang. The house museum tells the life and times of Sun Yat Sen when he lived in Penang and formed his plans for creating a republic of China from the then absolute monarchy. The house is an amazing piece of history and worth the visit for those interested in one of the most momentous events of the 20th century.

Visited this Museum that has a permanent exhibition on Sun Yat Sun ’s early revolutionary period in Penang and the china revolution in 1911. This Museum gives us a glimpse of the amazingly rich history behind this house. A nominal fee of rm5 is collected to enter this Museum. You can learn alot about Dr Sun Yat Sun through all the items on displayed.
