★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a famous and favarable food/ sundry/ fresh food shopping place for local. You can park the car along the roadsite or in front residential house and walk for may be 0.2km distance. Surrounding got few typical local kopitiam, meeting average Penang street food standard, like chicken / roasted duck rice, home-make bread, char koay tiew, pandan coconut pan cake, economy rice, loh mee, packed nasi lemak, roti chanai etc. Wet market style include eggs, vegetables, chicken, fish, caned food etc. Personally my favarable place to visit during weekend.

U can get ur breakfast and wet market item in 1 place

Post covid alot of changes

Difficulty to get parking but it is expected...
Tips: u can park further abit from market at the roadside just make sure don't block people driveway....
Overall must visit place if ur in penang

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of roadside stalls selling vegetables, local fruits, herbs, Pan cakes but even we are still following the SOP that set by the government to prevent Covid-19. As everyone going to market needs to wear a face mask. Otherwise there will be even more stalls running their daily business here. A good place to do wet market and daily Groceries purchase here. There more stalls inside due to the Covid-19 some stalls are not in operation. Food court is also inside and the other food court is nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the one inside the old wet market. Authentic food and cheap. Is cheaper than others. Eg curry mee only 4.50 (big portion, see it yourself) compare to others already 5.00.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 70s nostalgia feel. Busy just like any Sunday. The food is fresh. The are two fried carrot cake stall which the one I try is near the T junction, with average taste. The 猪肠粉is good, fresh with yummy sauce.
