★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked past this area a couple of time back in Feb. This is probably the smallest Little India I’ve seen in Malaysia. There really isn’t much to see here unless you have a hankering for Indian food or need specifically Indian items. Maybe micro India would be a better name. I went on a quiet weekdays, so maybe that had something to do with it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good place to visit if you want to find for good Indian food, clothes or accessories however they tend to overprice the latter as a RM600 accessory or saree can be bargained to RM200 (of course my parents knew the guy but that much of a price difference was too ridiculous).

Little India is a small, vibrant, busy, chaotic, exciting area in Melaka. With tons of shops to explore from beautiful textiles, day to day groceries, religious accessories to tasty Indian snacks, Little India has a lot to offer. Accessibility is very hit and miss. Lots of steps, uneven floors, drainage etc to get between shops. My food tip is to stop by Restoran Saravana for a scrumptious banana leaf curry rice or to try out the many snacks to eat on the go. And don't forget to head to the intersection where Jalan Bendahara meets Jalan Laksamana to snap a photo of "#LittleIndia" where the fountain is located.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a place where Malaysian Indian do business.Occasionally I bought imported tobacco e.g. Drum,Van Halen that suit my taste for tobacco.At times I bought bread,lighter from the grocery shop.Along the busy road in town u can try numerous famous Indian cuisine such as fish curry which taste good & will make u feel to come again for lunch,dinner with friends & family.

Little India is a landmark and historical place, also known as Malacca Indian Business Centre that's consist rows of shop houses. It's dominated by Indian traders since hundred of years ago along Jalan Bendahara and Jalan Temenggung intersection at Bandar Hilir, Malacca.
The place sells variety of goods, clothing/textiles, foods, prayer equipment/religious accessories, flowers etc. There's many things to see if you looking for Indian food or need a specifically items. ?
