Came here based on a recommendation by a friend’s friend. I’m from malacca & stayed in SG for more than 9 years but seriously, this is one really good Teochew restaurant (even better than Chao Shun Long in Melaka & imperial treasures Teochew fine cuisine at Ion SG. Ordered Teochew steamed grouper, sambal emperor veg, steamed egg with bitter gourd & fermented tofu fried pork. None disappoint me!!!!! Will go back again & again & again!

Should be one if the hidden gem in George Town. Great food. Simple menu but very well prepared and tasty. Definitely will return to more in coming weeks.

Reasonable prices for frog legs, fish steamed/fried, prawns, tofu and vegetables. Just be prepared that they only accept cash and not credit cards. Steam fish is super fresh, frog legs and prawns super tasty. Meal of 6 pax costs MYR 200+... do make sure you call for reservation for big groups especially during weekends.

Not a huge selection but the seafood was very fresh and tasty. Personal taste would prefer a little spicier but current flavour makes it much more accessible to more people. Recommended.

You may need to make reservation upfront for 5pax above as the restaurant is not too spacious to cater for big family especially during MCO/RMCO. Environment: Aircon but if you outside, have to bear with second hand smoke from next door. No wrong with the restaurant. 3/5 Price: 3/5. Portion abit small for the price Taste: 4/5. Overall taste is good. Curry could be better if abit more spicy and more gravy.

Came here first time as saw on Google maps. Young lady taking orders where really inpatient. Asked for the menu but told me all on wall in a very impatient tone. Food edible. Won’t say it’s amazing, but yes boleh Makan saja. First and last for me.

A small restaurant in Georgetown. Try to make reservation before coming cause this restaurant has limited sitting place, especially during weekends or public holidays. It is one of our family’s favourite Teochew restaurant in Penang. They provide nice Chinese home cooked food. The price is reasonable too. We are regular customers at dinner time and we usually order steamed fish, steamed chicken with herbs, prawn balls, stirred fried kailan, stirred fried vegetables. Our favourite food is seafood in casserole (Sapoa Haibi), prawn balls, fried cabbage with anchovies,fried Taofu with taucheow. Just to remind you that Sapoa Haibi is preparing in quite a big portion, is suitable for 4-5 pax. So try to make enquiry about the portion of it before ordering for just two adults. Here they just accept cash payment. We enjoy the food and drinks here. Will come back for our family gathering dinner soon again.
