โ โ โ โ โ Very disorganized, sign are confusing. Tesco applied shop and scan, so that customers can check out faster and reduce the waiting time and guess what, the shop and scan counter was occupied by those not using the apps and we need to wait 30mins for it, Kudos to the so called simple check out. Tesco, you totally failed to implement what you plan.

โ โ โ โ โ Hyper market in the area for all kind of household items and groceries. It is mall where many other shops and food court is also inside. Free parking for its customers.

โ โ โ โ โ I thought nothing much will change or will improve after the new ownership, I was wrong. I will only criticise the thing that had nothing to do with the pandemic.
First, moldy fruits, I was choosing some cherry tomatoes and blueberries, around 20% of them have mold or gone bad. I saw they definitely have enough staffs around to have someone at least check the fruits.
Secondly, the no plastic bag rule, at first I'm happy with the decision to get rid of plastic bag, but then customer have the choice to spend 50 sen for another better looking plastic bag. It's just like lotus try to encourage customer to buy another kind of cheap plastic rather than the non woven bag. What kind of go green is this? The plastic bag is not much durable either, probably not gonna have much reusable quality. For me it just seem like another way to earn more money rather than going green. Because most of them that I saw just buy the better looking cheap plastic rather than trying to bring their own.
Thirdly is the cashier, I got a bag and it can obviously fit all my stuff in there. But the cashier put a pack of chips, white bread and cherry tomatoes. And just push the rest to the side and let me deal with it. Then what's the point then when you making me doing more work, i have to take out all the things in the bag and put the heavier one inside first, then the lighter one.
The pork section smell very bad, before it always smell porky but this time it just smell so bad, I was standing outside and not even that near, but I can still smell the bad pork smell, some of the meat is definitely gone bad.
I'm very disappointed because tesco used to be one of my favourite supermarket to shop, it's a mid range pricing supermarket but the place always keep at a good standard before. This time I just don't enjoy it, it's like everything there just done at the bare minimum.

โ โ โ โ โ The hypermarket itself was nice like the usual hypermarkets. But the food courts seemed a bit understaffed. I had to wait like 40 mins for my food. Limited drinks at drink stall also. It cld b cos of the hari raya holidays

โ โ โ โ โ Since I'm on holiday here and this 3rd day of Eid Mubarak, there is less crowded in Lotus's Lukut and I like it. Every time when we on holiday here, we always shopping for groceries for hotel in stay consumptions.

โ โ โ โ โ Out of many counters only 2 are open for customers. We drop by to buy some essentials before heading to our hotel for short vacation.
In terms of arrangement of groceries and other essential items all are quite good.
