Off the beaten path. The unique porridge is like rice soup and really nice and served piping hot. Their seafood porridge tastes delicious with bits of fried fish, shrimps, squid and fishballs. Same ingredients are used for their seafood noodles. Their soy sauce chicken tastes as good as it looks. You’d be hard pressed to find equally good chicken dish in the big cities. Then there’s their juicy and fresh squid accompanied with home-made chilli and shrimp paste, sprinkled with peanuts. For dessert, I highly recommend their lemon grass-jelly. The chewy cubes of grass-jelly is a refreshing drink. But flies might be a problem and parking is quite haphazard- by the roadside of an already narrow 2 lane stretch.

This shop's signature dish is its seafood porridge which has very tasty broth. A huge bowl for four costs RM 30 & its portion is enough for six small eaters. You can also order side dishes such as boiled octopus, clams & braised chicken to go with the porridge or rice. Price is quite reasonable - dinner for six is RM105, inclusive of drinks.

Overall the food here is consistently above average. The steamed clam tasted 5-star, has never disappointed me.

For the fame, it is cheap and nice. I came here several times with different groups of friends, all of them like it. My favourite is 烟熏鸭 although it will take some time to prepare. Suggest to go with a group so you can taste more stuff. But solo can go for seafood porridge or noodles, they are all nice~

One of the local favorite restaurant. The signature roasted crab is good but the price is abit on the high side. Noodles and porridge are decent. Rose oil chicken is one of a kind and worth the try! Overall a good restaurant that I would recommend.

The shop is visible from the main road. Easy to spot. There are a row of car park space in front of the restaurant where you can park your car. Recommended to go earlier or give a call to book. Will be many people as the hour goes by later towards evening and night time. Nice food, especially the rose chicken. Highlight recommend to try. Love it. The ingredients they use are quite fresh. 1 thing I don't like is that there are lots of flies. Many, many, many flies.
