Exemplary confinement center; from service, food, room to the care given by the doctors & nurses! Tanamera spa & services were an added value services to top it off. I was down right spoiled rotten during confinement and will definitely recommend this to friends & family

By far the best investment any couples who are new to parenthood can make. Whilst the confinement lady option that is open to everyone tends to be slightly cheaper, what LYC has to offer will put new parent's worries to qualms. Some of the very notable value-adds that we came by during out stay include: a) Pediatrician who examines the babies on at least a weekly basis (giving parents the comfort that their infants are growing properly & reducing the need to take the infant to another pediatrician during their stay at the confinement centre) b) Gynaecologist that visits the mothers on a weekly basis to ensure their recovery from the birth is on track (and provides avenues for the new mothers to gain answers to the questions surrounding their bodily changes) c) Multiple shifts of qualified nurses (i.e, not random carers with some childcare experience) which are on duty (24 hours a day in aggregate) to ensure that the attention being poured onto the infant is nothing less than substandard d) Very experienced midwives to guide the mothers through their breastfeeding journey. This was by far one of the best points to the centre. All the other midwives and lactation consultants that we have met at the hospitals were either rough with our baby or didn't quite provide the right advice to us. Our breastfeeding journey has improved vastly since our arrival here at the centre. Whilst there are other positive points to the centre (e.g, extremely attentive nurses who check on our needs daily, excellent daily 5 meals, security camera to view your infant whilst he/she is resting in the nursery, etc.), I've found the points above to be the key to their 5-star status. Whilst we feel that this confinement centre is an essential for any new parents, it is nonetheless highly recommended for all mothers (so that they may focus on their recovery whilst professionals take care of their infants).

LYC Bukit Jalil is a nice place for confinement, you will feel relax and enjoyable for the 28 days here. The customer service team & the nurse team work in team work and provide friendly and courteous to customer. Great job!

Stayed at the LYC TTDI for two months and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The nurses are incredibly kind, helpful and professional. The pediatrician will check on the baby every Monday and another doctor will check on the mummy's wound or any pain/discomfort. There is also lactation consultant that would help you with BF and I learnt that my breastpump was a size too big, causing discomfort! There is a bottle of foam sanitizer attached to every cot and the nurses and paed will use it before touching my baby. Also a clipboard that monitor the baby's milk intake and time, and as well as diaper change (important for jaundice!), daily weight and most importantly, jaundice level! My baby was getting yellow by the end of the first week and it made me very nervous. And very glad that the paed was closely monitoring, and the nurses will record the level every day. If it is of any concern, the paed can draw baby's blood to send to lab for accurate testing. Fortunately, my baby got better. I have access to baby's CCTV to see him on my phone and the nursery is just accessible by the in-house phone and whatsapp number. The paed's clinic is just on lower floor and the whole vaccination process took me only 20 minutes with no queue and I could quickly rush back to the room to feed the baby. The customer service is also very friendly, and helps me with making reservations for massages, hair washes, laser appointments for my stretch marks, c-sec scar and the freckles on my face. On my first night here, I accidentally (somehow) locked the toilet on the inside while outside at 3am, but CS only works till 8.30pm. So, I called the nursery and was really glad they have access to unlock the toilet for me. With covid season now, they will regularly UV sanitise my room, the nursery and the lobby. The kakak will come clean the room daily and change the bedsheet weekly. It is fair to say that LYC Confinement Center exceeds my expectation and I will definitely return with baby number 2. If there is anything that can be improved, it would be the food. I am so sick of confinement foood already. But most importantly, me and baby are both well and comfortable throughout.

My wife delivered our first baby and completed her 28-day confinement at LYC TTDI in December 2019. It was the best investment we made that we would not hesitate to return for our next baby. The price may seem exorbitant initially (Especially in comparison with a confinement lady) but when you break down the services you receive, it's very reasonable. With our Deluxe package, we have gotten the following: 1) A clean, comfortable and spacious room that rivals any 5-star hotel room. Attires and laundry for mummy & baby are taken care of. Security is tight and only baby's parents have access into the rooms. Guests must register and get their temperature checked prior to visiting. 2) 24-hour nursery, well staffed by qualified and friendly nurses. The LYC staff and nurses have guided us with breastfeeding, pumping, diaper changing, bathing etc. Breastfeeding isn't easy, it's important that new parents get their advice from experienced professionals. We are glad that LYC has helped us from day 1 and with their encouragement, it ensured we are on the right track. 3) 5 meals a day that is planned by dieticians specifically for recovering & breastfeeding mummies. The dishes are mainly Chinese (Pork-free) but the quality, quantity and variety are so good that we are going to miss it later. 4) Baby's weight, temperature, jaundice reading, feeding time, poo are noted down meticulously daily to ensure baby is growing healthily. There are scheduled visits from paediatrician and gynae where you could voice out any concerns or complications. 5) Group activities on every weekday, great to pick up new knowledge and socialise with other parents. 6) Misc goodies: Pre & postnatal massages, goodie bag with freebies, hairwash etc. Having a newborn is the most exciting and stressful period for any parent. The purpose of confinement is to smoothen the journey and help parents ease into it. Not only LYC has achieved it for us, they have given us the peace of mind so that we could focus on what is important - Recovering and bonding with our newborn. In a nutshell, LYC sets the standard and professionalism that every one who works in the postnatal care industry should strive for. We won't hesitate to recommend them to expecting parents.

As advertised 5 stars confinement center for mommy and baby. The nursery department is the best, 3 nurses shift make sure baby is taking care from feeding, changing diaper, baby bath, consultation. Nursery services allow mommy to have a good rest during confinement period. 5 meals is serve daily for mommy ( breakfast, lunch, teatime, dinner and supper). Every two days herbal bath is provided. Daily activities is conducted for mommy... Namely YOGA..baby care tips.. skin care.. All mommy should deserved thee best from LYC.

I must say, as a first-time mom, choosing LYC Bukit Jalil for my 28days confinement is one of the best decision made ever as I am really satisfied and happy with my stay here. Our checkin here on the first day was nicely arranged and warm-welcomed by the customer service (CS) staff. We were also truly impressed with the 5-star hotel-feel-like kinda room, it makes us feel very cozy and comfortable staying here. The CS team here are really friendly, helpful and responsive in assisting and accommodating to all my request. They constantly ask for feedback and seeking if there is any room for improvement (be it for the food quality, any additional request on top of the existing one to accommodate to the every mom’s needs and wants) to ensure that our stay here is of pleasant one. Another kudos to the nursery team here, to attend to all my concerns and also patiently guide /share with me on the tips to take care of my baby. There is also a very professional and experienced in-house midwife here, sharing all her past experience and also told us not to worry too much, but most importantly have a very good rest here. With the help of the professional nursery team, we are also can rest assured that our baby is well taken care of by them. On top of that, 5 meals are provided everyday and yes, all the food serves here are very nutritious, tasty and also of great varieties! As a dessert person, I personally do love and looking forward the most to the tea time served (presentable 5 star dessert) during my stay here. Another plus point is daily housekeeping is provided daily to ensure that the room is kept clean all the time. Really have to thanks to the kakaks here for taking care of the cleanliness of the room and prepare the daily herbal bath for us. Big thanks to the LYC Bukit Jalil team and will definitely return my stay here again for my next child if any. <3

I’m so thankful that I’ve chosen LYC TTDI for my confinement. It’s stress-free throughout my entire confinement period. I never hesitate as I returned for my second confinement once again. Customer Service: Their service is topnotch, they are always so patient and friendly although I have a lot of requests. Throughout the stay, I can contact them using the cordless phone or WhatsApp easily, they always reply as soon as they can. It’s not easy as they have many things to handle at once. They also help me to coordinate with the room phototherapy treatment service as my baby was having jaundice during that time. Room and Accommodation: All rooms here are single rooms attached with a bathroom. The room is big and cozy. They have a cordless phone where I can communicate with nursery and customer service. I am also very happy with their hot and cold water mixer tap and shower in my bathroom, where I can have a warm tap to wash my hands and pump accessories, I also have the prepared herbal bath in the bathroom too. The bathroom safety grab bars and handles are very useful, as it assists me in the movement in the bathroom. I also like their daily housekeeping services as having a clean environment cheers up my day. Nursery Care: The nurses in the nursery are willing to take care of my baby 24hours and I can request my baby with me in my room whenever I want to see my baby. I can also monitor my baby through the baby cam where they installed above my baby cot in the nursery. Other than feeding and diaper changing, the nurses also help to comfort and massage my baby when needed. The nurses also help me to clean up my pump accessories whenever I am not free and not well. They even help me with baby feeding and diaper change when my baby is having the phototherapy treatment under my care in the room. When my baby was hospitalized, the nursers help to prepare diapers and milk for me to bring over to the hospital too. Food and Pantry: They provided me with 5 meals a day. For lunch and dinner, I get to choose my daily protein from Chicken, Fish, Beef/Mutton, or even vegeterian option. The meals are accompanied by 2 vegetables/sides and a double-boiled soup. They provide herbal soup for lunch and typical soup for dinner. For teatime, the kitchen spent time decorating the plate and always accompanied with refreshing fruits. I’m also very grateful that the kitchen was willing to prepare sugar-free desserts for my meals throughout the stay. Every morning, the housekeeper helps to refill the red dates jar and I get to refill the red dates in the pantry as well. The pantry also has free-flow drinking water, lactation milk, milo, biscuit, and instant cup noodle. Besides, they also offer meals for daddy, at a reasonable price. Others: Their package includes postnatal massage, ginger hair wash, and others. Besides, they have different classes, which are very useful for first-time mums. It cheers me up with lots of freebies on my table when I first check-in, with lactation cookies, baby stuff, healthy drinks, and plenty of freebies/samples. For Christmas eve, I was so surprised and delighted that they prepared me and my husband a fine-dining Christmas meal, with soup, salad, main course, and dessert. The customer service receptionists even gave a surprise teatime with two cute gifts to me when they enter my room. They also help me to collect and send my parcels to my room! They also free us a family photo, where the photographer took our family photo, and it means a lot (it’s not easy to have a nice photo when you have a baby with you). They also free a bag of diapers for me when I check out, this is so convenient as I do not have to buy them when I reach home. I highly recommend soon to be moms to choose a confinement center (especially LYC) over a confinement lady after delivery. The price may seem exorbitant at the beginning, but looking at the services provided, I think it’s totally worth it. It is a stress-free experience for you and your husband.
