Very beautiful old house with garden courtyards to just walk in for a look even if you don't intend to buy anything. They sold furniture, antiques and ornaments, some smaller ones were very reasonably priced (eg.the Tang style ceramic horses at rm15 each). They kindly allowed me to take photos

You pay RM8 but can pick a gift plus included the entrance fees. Lot of old and classic stuff for display or sale here. The building is some piece of art and it is huge for sure. The only complain is there is no description over those item. So u may not know any background or much of those item u see here. But people are friendly.

Nice preservation, inexpensive entry fee. Quite authentic period furnishings.

It is our first time visiting this place. The entrance fee was RM8.00 per person and we were given a tiny useless tile each as free gift. The impression of this house was more like a wannabe of the proper Baba n Nyonya heritage. The ground floor had some old furniture and decoration but first floor was filled with modern stuff including black n white photo taken in year 2000. I seriously doubt all of the items in ground floor are genuine because many of it had a price tag. My advise to you is avoid this place and go somewhere else.

I came across this charming place by chance when I was exploring the streets on foot. It is a beautiful place and house itself is huge (it is one of the longer ones in that street). There are antiques, knick knacks and souvenirs being sold here but the real attraction of this place is the building itself. Visitors can explore the ground floor as well as the first floor but the attic is closed to the public. The back portion houses the kitchen and according to literature there, it used to be a stable there as well. The hosts are warm and friendly and eager to explain the history behind their ancestral home.

Just happened to walk past and thought why not to enter. We took the RM8 entry fee for adults (kids enter free) as price of a small souvenir tile really. What you see is the construct of a typical dwelling-cum-shop here beyond the facade you see at the front. Yes, they do have stuff on display. Most are available for sale.

Such a beautiful century old building with original charming features, filled with antiques and paintings for sell. Did not expect how big the building is, for me it's worth the visit if you can appreciate and love old historical buildings and antiques. Fee entrance is RM8, along with one tile souvenir.

I always amazed with peranakan houses. This house cum museum are said to be 208ft long and 150 years old. The floor tiles are all original. Restoration of this beautiful place started just 30years ago by the new buyer. The corridors are long, the door panel is made of thick hardest wood, probably the belian. As we walked upstairs, there's an old vintage garment that made from thick grass worn by people of China during winter. This one too was well preserved. Pls do visit this house if you come to Malacca.
