β β β β β It's a nice shop. Owner is friendly, although the prices are a little costly, I believe that they do put in a lot of effort to make these beaded shoes. Not to mention they also sell bound feet shoes, which are once thought to be forgotten to the sands of time.
Though it might not be the most elegant looking of shops, I would definitely recommend both tourists and locals to stop by and pay this shop a visit. Who knows, you might even learn a brief history of China.

The bound feet shoes are for display and souvenir, no one wears it nowadays. It is certainly part of our history, not that we are proud of it but it is there.
