External speakers should just be used for azan only. For the rest of audio purposes should only be configured on internal speakers. There are neighbours to the masjid that will be effected by longing unnecessary loud voices (like tahlil event, berzanji, zikir, doa & quliyyah). Masjid committee should be mindful about the condition of their neighbors. Even if the neighbours are muslims, whenever Quran is being recited, muslims are prohibited from talking and must just stop and listen. Refer to Surah Al-Araf verse 204.
