★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly owner who's willing to give samples before you purchase. Lots of variety of products can be found - local biscuits, local snacks, coffee, noodles and pre mix beverage.
The peanut candy and kaya puff is good. Peanut candy is priced at RM11 per bag (buy 5 free 1). Good alternative to Ming Yue if you'd like to skip the queue. Prefer the kaya puff here to Sin Eng Heong as it iss not too sweet. RM1.20 per piece. Another option if Sin Eng Heong has long queue.
Good thing they also open till late evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A surprise find. I tried the kaya kok and Heong piah. Both were freshly baked in small batches, and tasted excellent. The kaya kok had a fragrant flaky crust reminiscent of traditional Hong Kong pastries (I detected the distinct flavour of lard). The heong piah's filling was sweet without being cloying, with a hint of shallot oil. The pastry shell remained thin and crisp, even a few days after I bought them. by the way this store is located near Funny Mountain, very easy to find.
