★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the old resident of former chief minister of Melaka, which has now converted into a museum and gallery opened for public visit. It is on top of a small hill, very serene and surrounded by lush greenery. Well-maintained. We visited on a Sunday morning, and was surprised we were the only visitors there. You can drive all the way up and park your car inside the gallery vicinity. Entrance fees for adult is RM3, children free. We were greeted by the gallery guide, and he personally showed us around the gallery, which also included a visit to the adjacent ketua Hakim, former chief judge resident. It is worth visiting to understand more about the history of Melaka. You have to remove your shoes before entering the gallery.
