The hostel is comfy and all but it also depends on roommates and toilets they can be very dirty at times

Toilet is bearable. Cheap if triple sharing, no water/electric bill. Good place to live for first semester students to look for friends.

Very strict and pricey. RM350 for double-sharing and RM250 for twin-sharing. My former roomates told that last year they only charged you RM200 for twin-sharing. Room is stuffy even with the provided ceiling fan. Not air-conditioned. I suggest that you bring your own fan. Can only use power below 150 watt, cannot bring fridge, kettle, iron. There are wifi hotspots placed at the centre of each wing but in the rooms you'll get only around 2 bars. Each room have LAN ports but speed is capped to 3mbps. Ping is superb for gaming as you'll get 1-3ms but you'll have to relogin frequently because of poor RADIUS server. Bathroom and toilet are dirty, many of the drains are clogged. I'd suggest that you rent a room at The Arc if you're studying in MMU

RM350 for a twin-sharing room is decent enough. No electricity and water bills, along with a decent internet connection (LAN ports). However, wifi connection is not that great. Gaming connection is not blocked so you can enjoy high ping for all games (Dota, CSGO, LOL, Overwatch etc). Currently, there's no food court available on the ground floor. Nearest would take around 5-10mins walking distance.

The toilets are cleaned often, the area is fogged to prevent mosquito problems, and the people here are a little noisy but mostly lovely and so are not bad roommates overall.

It's ok for student. But the room can get hot tho. And the "pantry" is literal garbage wreck. Seriously nobody clean the pantry? The bathroom is decent I guess. The janitors clean it once a week. Kalau tak, bathroom pun takde harapan nak bersih.

Been living here for almost two years, fast wi-fi, clean toilet, got vending machines, laundry, and a meeting room for the students to study at, the only problem is how hot it can get, nonetheless, its a very decent place to stay for MMU students

In all honesty, this place is great! Especially when it comes to freshmen students. Free utilities, free drinking water (did I mention that it's cold?), ultra fast 600mbps Ethernet wifi ( it only goes up to 10-20mbps for wireless connection tho), and the bathrooms are well maintained as well! It's close to the mosque (8 min walk), it's close to DPulze (15-20 min walk), it's close to the campus faculties (5-10 min walk depending on what faculty you're in), and so on. The downside however, it can get pretty darn hot (so be sure to bring your own table/standing fan), the security is alright (but not perfect), and the people you're neighbors with may differ. There may be people who smoke (despite that not being allowed on campus), annoyingly loud neighbors and so on. However, I'm very thankful to have made great friends here and my neighbors are no disturbance at all.
