★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mont Kiara International School is kinda Good. At least Better than my old school Havil International School in Brickfields, KL. When it comes to staff management, facilities, co-curricular activities, and quality of teaching, Mont Kiara is much more better than Havil International School in terms of that. I won't recommend Havil International School.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've heard a lot about this school in KL. KL is blessed to have lot of schools like Mont Kiara. But kids coming from a small town like Sungai Petani are very unfortunate. Wish, they were also blessed to have another branch in Sungai Petani, Kedah near AIMST University.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the parent of a middle schooler, I am extremely disappointed in the treatment of my son, along with his peers, by the administration. Throughout his tenure at mkis, he was a strong student in terms of academics. He made some little mistakes in terms of behaviour, in accordance with his age of 13. Although I may have been discontented with his acts, I was more furious at the barbaric treatment of him by Brian Chesher, middle school counsellor. The general parental consensus about him was that he clearly belittled students, instead of counselling and attempting to help them. I do appreciate the middle and high school principal, Alan shanks, as he had a positive, joyful attitude towards parents and students. Some other admin members were not in accordance with this though. Overall, I suggest not enrolling your child in this, as they are not treated like they should be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mont' Kiara International School is a relatively small, but very good school. The teachers at this school are almost always open to giving extra help whenever they can. It is a very challenging school for many students, but it is challenging in a good way. This is because students are faced with the ESLRs or expected school wide learning results that encourage them to go beyond their limitations. The curriculum is also designed to make the students excellent global citizens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MKIS is a total failure as an educator. They are not at all an inclusive school, commercial decisions are at the center with no regard to kid's learning future. Please avoid it at all cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some teachers are nice, but the fee is too high. Additionally, the counselor only listens to children but doesn't help them. They've also implemented harsh rules during lockdown that damage children's mental health. If you want to join MKIS, join after COVID-19 is over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cruel and humiliating place for young people to be. Little to no councel for teens requesting it. Some genuinely good teachers, but I after one year here, it took me several to heal up again. Sure, I excelled academically, but my head and heart suffered. I'm glad to have survived it, but I would never send my child here.
