β β β β β I will never regret for seeking second opinion from Dr. Thangesweran. He is very professional and explains everything to me very clearly. Besides, he always give me the chance to ask questions whenever I have any doubts. His patience in giving me clear explanation all the time really put me in ease. I am so thankful that Dr. Thangesweran managed to perform laparoscopy procedure on me which causes lesser pain and to have faster recovery compared to open surgery. Overall, the surgery went well and I manage to walk around the ward on the following day of the operation.
After I was discharged from hospital, he keeps following up with me to ensure that my wound are in good condition post surgery. I am so grateful to have so much care and advice from him pre and post surgery.
Thanks Dr. Thangesweran for everything you have done for me. From my experience, I really feel that you truly cares about your patients all the time.

β β β β β First and foremost, it was a blessing to have met him. Dr. Thangesweran is a very professional and skillful doctor. He truly cares about his patients. He provides a very kind and loving service consistently before and after my surgery. He messages me consistently to check my condition after discharge.
From the first appointment he put me and my husband at ease with his friendly and professional manner. He explained everything carefully and that gave me a lot of confident to undergo the surgery. and I regard him as a Godsend to solve my health issue.
I feel grateful for the robotic surgery as I had no pain. my wound is heal perfectly.
I would like to thank the team and Dr.Thangesh, genuinely from bottom of my heart. He is the best gynecologists you can ever have.

β β β β β Dr. Thanges is an empathetic, patient and friendly Dr whose priority is the care of his patients. I consulted with Dr. Thanges to find out more about an issue I was having. He patiently listened and was very thorough in finding out what the issue was. Taking into consideration to rule out other possibilities.
He explained clearly and ensured I understood what treatment options would work and what options would not work and why, giving me confidence to make my decision. Having my total hysterectomy done using the DaVinci robotic system was the best choice I made.
The pros were as what Dr. Thanges had outlined. For me, the pain management quite tolerable, no where near as painful as I had imagined. I was able to walk 2 days post-surgery. Now my all my small incisions have healed very well and Iβm just about back to my daily life. Dr. Thanges is regularly checking up on me to ensure Iβm doing well. I cannot imagine having done this surgery without Dr. Thanges and his skills with robotic surgery.
I definitely agree with my good friend who recommended me to see him, that I was in very good hands and good care all the way. I would assuredly recommend Dr. Thanges to anyone in need of his care and expertise.

β β β β β He is one of the most amazing and caring doctor that I have ever seen. I have recently did the Robotic Hysterectomy with him and the whole process were well explained by him. Before this, I have never heard of this type robotic surgery before but Dr Thanges has explained the steps and procedures of this surgery very well. And he has nvr been annoyed of me asking him alot of questions. He told me that the healing process after the surgery will be very fast and yes indeed. I have done many surgeries before but this surgery was very smooth as well my post surgery care is very efficient. I will definitely recommend this Dr to everyone as he is such a good person as he cares for his patient like his own family as well as he doesn't charge too much.

β β β β β Dr.Thangeswaran Ayakannu is one of the best gynos I have met. He is truly professional, patient, compassionate, and cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. Heβs diligent in making sure my health is the best it can be.
After consulting with 3 gynecologists, I was referred to Dr. Thanges for a total hysterectomy. I was terrified from the right beginning before I met Dr. Thanges. His calmness and care in explaining my condition and suggesting what is best for my future led me to decide on the robotic surgery performed on Da Vinci Series Xi.
The surgery was a success thanks to Dr. Thanges and his expertise. I was able to walk the next day! It took only 4 days for me to walk up the stairs to my apartment! The pain was almost non-existent and all I needed was paracetamols if there were any discomfort.
I am truly thankful to Dr. Thanges for suggesting the robotic surgery. My recovery has been remarkable! I would recommend Dr. Thanges to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor!

β β β β β Dr Thanges treated my Mother-in-law for an ovarian cyst.
His manner was calm and reassuring; whilst the consults were always informative and supportive.
Questions were answered patiently, and he expertly tailored his responses according to whether the questions were from myself (a fellow surgeon) or my Mother-in-law.
She underwent a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy; with Dr Thanges using the DaVinci robotic system. I was privileged to have been allowed into the OT to observe. His expert manipulation of the robotic system made me (almost) want to re-train as a robotic surgeon.
Post-operatively, her recovery was remarkable. She was discharged after 3 nights; whereupon she was walking independently and did not need painkillers. Within 7 days she was walking around a mall!!!
Having accompanied Mother-in-law throughout her medical journey, I am pleased that we had chosen Dr Thanges as her surgeon; and I can confidently attest to his skill as a surgeon and endorse his professionalism.

β β β β β I'm truly blessed to be treated by Dr. Thangesweran Ayakannu. He made me sail through easily through my most traumatic experience of my life. His skill in robotic surgery cannot be denied. I had a very successful robotic surgery for my health issues. I was back on my feet two days post-surgery. Three weeks away now, I only have tiny scars that have healed completely. The robotic operation put me back on my feet and I'm able to continue with my busy student life. Dr. Thanges is a very humble, gentle, friendly and caring doctor. He accompanied me on my journey towards healing. He explained very well, and ever ready to answer questions. Even after I was discharged, he kept in touch to know my progress. I have indeed found not only a very good and skillful doctor, but also a good friend who cares. Thank you very much Dr. Thanges for making me well again. You are indeed amazing and God sent!
