★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to Murad Bangsar for over a year after seeing a deal on Facebook. I just want to commend the professionalism of the beauticians at Murad. After the facials and using the products, I have seen great improvements to my skin and complexion and often get compliments that my face is glowing (with zero makeup!). A little on the pricier side but if you're thinking if starting to look after your skin, especially to prevent premature aging, and you're looking for an experience that is customised completely to your skin's needs (instead of generic facials), this is the place to go to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have gone here twice for facial spa. Most recently, the treatment was for hyperpigmentation (as i want to prioritized) and dehydration (as analyzed and recommended by the specialist). I did not have great experience during the 1 time visit Murad but since I had purchased more treatments, I only went to finish it.
The room and atmosphere overall are fine, the staffs are gentle and polite.
In term of the process, the specialist starts with "touching" my legs, those touches are too soft to be called massage. Note that throughout the process, I did not ask to adjust force at any time cause I want to know how normal is like here. There are few times where specialist would massage me, like the neck and head and at the end, the shoulder. Except for the shoulder, I cannot feel any effect of the massage in other parts of my body, these motions are either too soft or not on point (to me, for example the pressing on temples area are not at the temples).
In term of the facial itself, there are many many steps that I could not count. Overall it is ok. My skin seems to be smoother.
There is only one thing strange to me that the tingling feeling is pretty strong, consistent and lasting. Having used many active ingredients including retinol, my skin is not new to the feeling but I thought there should be something to help to calm the skin (or there is but no effect). Even when i wash my face in the end of the day at home, my cheeks are still red and a little in pain. I have waited for another day before giving this review to see if the redness will go away, which it does, but has transformed to a condition like a minor burn from active ingredient. I hope this will go away but for now, 2 days after the treatment, that is all I can say.
One more thing I do not enjoy at Murad is that the staff tries too hard to sell. Even when I express no interest in any of the product or process, they keep going on for at least 15 minutes. I understand the need to sell but definitely not liking it. Last thing, the staff asks me to give review and for exchange, she will give me sample. I am nowhere interested in having sample but i am sure about writing a review.
