★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb Japanese restaurant with Japanese craft beers. They own the Vietnamese restaurant down the road too. Life changing Pho surely to Pho you away! Ample parking unlike the other Hartamas, which will cause you to lose appetite any hours of your life away finding a close parking spot. Highly recommended! If only I could afford the houses there too, it will be walking distance favourite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place, serving great Japanese fair. From the maki to the sashimi, food is well done. Service depends on the servers of the day. Experience in some occasions where the waiters were busy chatting or on their phones while we were waiting for service. But they are friendly once they come around to u. Hopefully they can be more consistent on that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ridiculous service. Waited in line for 10 minutes, no greetings and assist from the staff. We finally got a seat after 15 minutes, and we ordered 5 items from the menu. After a long wait of 45mins, only one dish been served. In between we've spoken to three different staff, they said the food is coming, but ended up our order wasn't even in the system. We paid for that one dish and left. Can't believe this kind of service attitude can still survive in KL. Owner if you're reading this, please train your staff. The entire experience is unacceptable!
PS: the restaurant wasn't even busy lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rather flatline experience I would say. Given the price, the portion is definately smaller than the other japanese joints within 2km radius. Taste wise, I would rate it as the same as other Japanese restaurants, nearby. Which is a way to say the food is above average overall.
** 2 plus point: the place are spacious and not crowded, which is very important, given the pandemic situation now. Ample of parking available nearby

Tucked away in the heart of Sri Hartamas is a casual Japanese Restaurant serving authentic Japanese delights such as sashimi, sushi and rice bowls.
Service: We placed the order via a third party hence was pretty straight forward
Packaging: Nothing much to rave about with very ordinary take away boxes
Chicken Katsu Curry Rice (RM 28)
Taste: The key to authentic Chicken Katsu Curry Rice lies in the 3 different aspects of the dish. The rice used should be Japanese rice which tends to have a sticky texture and easily eaten with chopsticks The chicken should be juicy within and coated with a crispy batter. The curry should be fragrant and slightly thick with its fragrance hitting you as you open the take away box. Today, the curry was fragrant and had a nice thick texture cooked with a generous amount of carrots and potatoes giving it a slightly sweet finish. The chicken was juicy within though a little small, batter cooked to a beautiful golden brown and sprinkled with spring onions. We liked the fact they separated the curry into a separate container hence not causing the chicken to go soggy.
Price: Reasonable ??♀️
Salmon Sashimi (RM 35)
Taste: Arrived beautifully plated within the box rested on a leaf, accompanied by soy sauce and wasabi. The salmon was fresh with no hint of fishiness and was firm to the touch, yet delightfully melted in our mouth.
Price: Reasonable ??♀️
Recommended? Simple as they may seem, but this Japanese restaurant has managed to bring the authentic Japanese flavours into the hearts of Malaysians ??♀️
