Probably not the best museum in town, but many things can be learnt there, especially about how orang asli live and what the governments have done to help ease these people's life.

No staff was around during the entire duration of our visit. None of the videos in the museum are working at this time, including the welcome video. Exhibits are informative enough but text can be small. Toilets are neither signposted nor clean. According to the shopkeeper, demonstrations of traditional games/hunting have to be arranged in advance. Be sure to arrange your own return transportation and it is impossible to call a taxi or Grab car here.

Small Orang Asli Museum with little artifacts. It was rather a disappointment. Contains some very basic information about Indigenous people in Malaysia. There is no need to come all the way to visit this museum, you won't miss anything. If you want to visit Orang Asli exhibition, I suggest you to visit Perak Museum in Taiping. I give it 2 stars as the facility is clean and nicely maintained. Thanks to the staff over there.

Orang Asli Museum Gombak is located 24 km from Gombak Street. This museum is somewhat different from other museums all over Kuala Lumpur. All exhibits in this museum are the cultural heritage of the indigenous people of Goose Mark. It is said that these historical heritages have been passed down for about 600 years. The environment in this center is a forest area. Entering here, you can see β€˜blow arrows’, β€˜spears’, β€˜ceramics’, β€˜statues’ and so on. Each exhibit has a detailed historical background written next to it, so that visitors who come to visit can have a deeper understanding of the living culture and customs of the aborigines of the Goose Mark.
