The easiest trail for the total of 5 peaks. Can be reach around 40-45 minutes. Nice view and always my favourite place for short hiking ?

It was an amazing experience ☺️☺️ I really enjoyed being there. it is 15 min from KL. Try to go there early in the morning because around noon it can get pretty hot up there. Some paths can be pretty dangerous so be extra careful. I would advice to not go there after a rainy day...

Tabur hill, 10km north of Kuala Lumpur. Never underestimate lower heights... Although this rock is only 400m high it is a challenge. First going through a slippery jungle before reaching the top after some final rock climbing. Not to mention the swarms of mosquitoes descending on you whenever you stop for a minute. Went there in November 2019, during wet season, early morning is best. I wonder if mosquito situation is better in dry period... The view from the top makes it worthwhile... Can you see the twin towers in one of the pictures? ??

Hike can be done within an hour with an amazing view (see pics) as reward. Few small rock climbing parts which are a bit tricky. You also have an option to go for the extreme trail or far east extra. Don't get discourage at the start of the trail where there is a construction site.

Relatively short but *intense* hike. (from a "beginner" point of view) PROS: - AMAZING view on the peak with several vantage points, the busy city on one side and the peaceful dam on the other side. - Quite short compared to some hikes. - Trail is easy to follow, but watch out as it branches into the *extreme* trail. CONS: - Kinda dangerous if you don't watch out for the ledges. - A few sections before the peak require some rock climbing. There's sturdy rope and lot of footholds, but be extra careful. - Steeper climbs if you are beginner, take your time and don't push too hard. Things to look out for: - Passing through a few grassy areas, better wear long pants if you don't want itchiness. - A LOT of strays at the entrance to the trail. They followed me around, but were not aggressive. Be careful if ur not a fan of doggos

Location: 5/5 Very near to city centre. Trail: 4/5 not so difficult for the whole hike except the last part where one have to climb up 2 stretches of rock climbing to reach the top. View: 5/5 Awesome! Its offers you the magnificent Klang Gates Dam on one side and KL city centre view on the other side. And also the glimpse of the 16km longest in the world Klang Gates Quartz Ridge. Safety reminders: 1. Hike in group, never go alone. 2. Long tracking pant, long sleeve sport wear, good hiking shoes, enough water and some emergency cut handyplast as you may get hurt/cut when passing through the thatches at the beginning of trailhead and climbing through the last part to the top. 3. Bring enough water and be extra careful while on the top as you may well standing on the edge of the quartz. Last but not least: Hike with care, Enjoy the hike and views!

It is challenging. But not hard to the extent you give up. As long as u have a group (min 4 people) to go with you will be fine. There are a lot of insects and ants throughout the forest so make sure to wear lots of mosquito repellent. The trail is quite slippery in few areas but nothing to be afraid of. The rock climbing is toward the end of far east trail and it's something you have to do to reach the view. It is quite dangerous but even first timers can do it as long as you have a group to help you. Personal experience was 10/10. Definitely would go again.

Definitely a worthy place for outdoor and scenery photographers. It's so easy. Also, if your timing is right, you get the chance to enjoy some chilling mountain breeze and sea of clouds. climb all the way up. No excuse. WARNING: Once you reach the far east peak from far east trail head, do not go further. That going down route is heading to East hill which is very far from the start point. The only exit is where you came from.
