★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is delicious with a good selection of Malay dishes. Most people having lunch there are foreigners /tourist . Sadly, for me , being an local guy, a simple meal was overpriced. If only there was another restaurant serving malay dishes closeby......

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something Authentic. Keep an eye out for the sign in the pictures and order from the restaurant there. The Char Koay Teow Special is what I got and each mouthful had a different flavour. It was incredible. The Nasi Goreng I saw going out looked like one of the best versions of the dish I'd seen on my whole trip. Will be returning when I come back to Penang.

Aunty is friendly too! She can speak fluent English. So don't worry for those who doesn't know the local language.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't exactly go to Umi but went to the connecting stall called Moi Sempoi. Ordered the roti telur goyang and it was quite good. However very disappointed with their customer service, seller was rude and trying to show her dissatisfaction when I don't have small change. She also didn't save our nasi lemak when we already ordered to take away and turns out it was sold out when we're leaving.
