β β β β β Nazzeera's roti bakar kacang phool is not for everyone, but if you're looking to try a uniquely Penang dish then this is for you.
Kacang phool is basically a peanut sauce (kind of like that you'll fine in Satay) with minced meat, Indian onions, green chilis and some lime squeezed in. It's not gourmet food and you shouldn't be expecting that going on. It's a simple Penangite dish. Paired with their "made from scratch" bread (which is soft and fluffy) as well as a fried egg and you'll be having a quick bite as you start your day in the morning or a late night snack.
We also had the chicken melt sandwich which has a similar flavour profile as the kacang phool with some added melted cheese.
The kacang phool set (kacang phool, fried egg, bread) was rm8 (we chose the chicken). The melted cheese sandwich was rm14.
The owner was also very nice and helpful. We'd visit again for a quick bite in the future. But would probably just order one dish instead of both the kacang phool and the sandwich. Was a bit of an overkill.
Again, it might not be to everyone's taste but it's worth trying at least once on your travels to Penang.

β β β β β Place is clean. Lots of choices other than kacang pool. Kacang pool itself tasted a bit different - sweetish from the one in Johor. This place used cili padi hijau instead of cili hijau besar. The roti butter/margarine bakar is sold separately making the whole kacang pool set more expensive than the original in Johor.

β β β β β The food here is not bad, kacang phool is good. The cakes, tarts and pastries are all homemade . The only thing is that it's abit slow as there's only 2 people operating the stall. Other than that, it's a thumbs up. I've been here multiple times , each time trying new things from the menu.

β β β β β With the price listed, the food portion given is good and super worth the price. The omelette egg is very good, filled with cheese. But I gave 3 stars as the speed of preparing the food is slow, we were here about 12.45pm, our last dish is not served even at 1.30pm with just 8 paxs on the table and 3 staffs

β β β β β The food was delicious and have cozy atmosphere. Great place to hang out with friends or family. Love the kacang phool set and the iced tea! The ice tea taste different from other cafe, if you are a fan of teh ais(ice tea)/teh tarik you should try it!
