When you leave Kuala Pilah bus station, you will see a Baba Nyonya house when you look up. The house is located at one end of the main street in Kuala Pilao, and its foundation is much higher than the station. The house is so bright and dazzling, it's hard not to see it. Judging from the plaque of the house, it is a family named Chen. The plaque of the house is: Chen Yuanxing. There are also two brands on the top, one is Yingchuan and the other is Yuanxing. Yingchuan can prove that the family's surname is Chen, because Yingchuan is the county head of Chen's surname (now Yuzhou, Henan). Where's Yuanxing? I guess it's the hall number of this house. The house was obviously redecorated. The outside walls and carvings have been refurbished. But judging from the structure and appearance of the house, it is obviously a colonial-era Baba Nyonya-style building. The house next to it was built in 1927. This house is about the same era. It has a history of more than 80 years. The house has two floors. There are sculptures on top of it, and there are vases of figures, birds and beasts, etc., standing on the eaves. There are reliefs of flowers, birds, insects, fish, shrimps, crabs and various beasts in different parts of the lower layers. There are also reliefs of figures, all of which are figures of Chinese Buddhism and Taoism. The windows on the second floor are very distinctive. On the periphery of the window, there are white ancient Greek and Roman vaults and columns. Inside, there is a sauce-red window. There are stained glass and hollow stained windows on the upper part of the window. There are fine patterns on the windows of the windows below. The windows on the ground floor are rich and noble. Flower tiles surround the window, and there are large tile murals under the window. The window itself is also the main color of sauce red. The upper part is decorated with exquisite gold lacquered flowers and trees, and the bottom four window panels have symmetrical gold lacquered flowers and birds and wood reliefs. The door and the surrounding frame are also embossed with gold-lacquered figures of flowers and birds, but the carvings are more detailed. This is the most beautiful Baba Nyonya house I have ever seen in Malaysia. It is conceivable how rich the owner of this house was once! The door of the house was closed tightly. I once asked a salesman at the bus station. He said that this house is an old house, a residence. There are still people living inside.
