★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sandwiched between Mun Kee Steam Fishhead and Spicy Shack, Aunty Yong Mooi serves her Air Itam "Pinang Prawn Mee" in her own style. A RM6.50 bowl is generous with tiny shrimps, pork slices and hardboiled egg but the accompanying soup is clear, lacking the normal sweetness of a spicy pork bone and prawn bisque. Perhaps, she has been busy with her main offerings of economy rice dishes. Kudos to her for personally attending to every bowl made. Such attention will help her survive her craft, if only her son will take it on.
