Other than the steam fish, other dishes are just so so. Not worth waiting 1hr for table. May be non holiday is better.

1. Steamfish is quite delicious, just that the nyonya paste is not enough. (4 stars) 2. The only let down is the sweet & sour pork. No "wok hei" and the meat taste weird. (3 stars)

We tried nyonya steam, tasted good & not so spicy. Salted egg york squid and Gu Lou pork tasted good, but the Gu Lou pork a bit too hard. Overall, recommended!

There was a lot of people but manage to get a table quite quick. Ordered the Nyonnya and normal steam fish head based on recommendation, and love the taste of the nyonya style, sourrish and not spicy. Also ordered the clayport Water Spinach which is taste very delicious. Would definitely come back again.

Good value for money. To maximize your love for steamed fish, get 3-4 people and order two different styles. It’s worth it compared to ordering other side dishes. It may take a while for your order to be taken.

Still the house signature steamed fish reigns the king, IMO. The rest are as good. Parking is difficult during peak hours. People park like crazy. Prepare to wait 30 minutes for your meal.

This restaurant is famous for steamed fish head, yes, they are really good. Their Song Yu size is bigger than others, and the bigger the better. Keeps me coming back for it. Their fish dishes have gotten better. Fresh and free of muddy scent, what more the texture was buttery smooth like even at the back of the fish. I like their signature, than ginger, black beans nor assam flavour. The salted egg chicken wings, spring union iced tahu, claypot kankung are average. No surprises. Prices are decent. High value, the place has no air conditioning and beside the road. Noisy crowd, this place is not for people who want a classy dining experience. Parking could be difficult at peak hours, otherwise it should be fine.

Very tasty steam fish with several flavors of choice but the ginger sauce seems to be most popular here. Do not fancy just fish? You will not be disappointed with the frying wok here that dish out awesome sweet potato leaves with sambal, chicken and a variety of diners favorite. Airy and yet clean open dining with above average service, this is not a place to impress your date's eyes but to satisfy her palate. And we are talking about tasty and value hard to beat here at Mun Kee.
