★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended a 2 hour Facebook Live webinar on Big Data Certification, learnt nothing. Huge waste of time.
Most of the talk involved upselling their courses, giving basic information about Big Data, and convincing participants to help share info about their company for them to gain more exposure.
Quite a few of the active participants in the talk were actually employees of the company, but participated as if they were regular members of the community. These are misleading marketing tactics, in my opinion.
Email confirmation stated to join earlier for a chance to win access to free courses. The live event ended up starting late, and there was no such giveaway.
Overall just marketing scam, better to sign up for online courses and certification with other companies that are more reputable.
