β β β β β I decided to join the class to pick up cooking as a hobby. Sara has both the passion and patience to guide and to teach. The overall experience was excellent starting with the welcome drink + appetizer and then the garden tour where she shared the taste and purpose of the plants one by one and finally, the cooking in the kitchen which was well organised. A recipe booklet was also given so that I can cook it again in my home. Great learning experience!

β β β β β Although I lived in KL most of my life, I have never made any of these hawker food - because I didn't think they would taste good if made at home. Well, I was wrong! The hawker food recipe was easy to follow and as delicious as the ones you can get from Chinatown. Thank you, Sara - now I can make my own Wantan Mee and Char Siew right at home - no queue, no msg, and whatever not that I don't know about.
Sara's cooking class is very well-thought. The flow of the entire process was very natural and at the same time efficient. The entire experience was very pleasant starting with homemade tea she's made with tea leaves from her garden. She gave a brief tour at her garden which she harvests from for the cooking class and for her family meals at home. She also prepared a recipe booklet beforehand as reference when we cook and for us to bring home as a souvenir. Her kitchen was spacious enough to move around when cooking, clean and very well-equipped.
I will most definitely recommend cooking with Sara at her home!

β β β β β I brought my Swedish clients to experience cooking our Malaysian favorite dish - Nasi Lemak & Ayam Goreng Berempah. Amazing how Sara explained & simplified well the preparation of the dish. Firstly, she brought us to her garden and showed her herbs & plants. We had the first hand to pick our own ingredients such as the pandan and curry leafs. She also explained about other plants that has health benefits that are grown locally. My clients were very excited and enjoyed every moment from preparing to cooking the sambal (chili paste), rice cooked with coconut milk and frying the aromatic chicken...yummy! Lastly, presenting the food in a wrap with banana leaf was just authentic. We feel much at home as we cook within her family kitchen. Sara's cooking class is pure fun and authentic. Thank you again for showing Malaysian hospitality to my Swedish clients. Highly recommend to those looking for local cooking experience. Well done Sara!

β β β β β Our family of 6 (2 adults, and 4 children ages 12, 11, 8 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed our morning of cooking at Sara's home kitchen in KL. We were looking for a fun learning experience for our kids and a chance to understand more about Malaysian ingredients. We got all of that and more. Sara was extremely patient with each of our children and included them in all activities. My kids left with big plans to cook many of the recipes at home - which we are confident we will be able to do thanks to the cute recipe book Sara provided and all of the additional tips we received. Thank you, Sara!

β β β β β This class with Sara was amazing. Sara is a natural teacher and is welcoming, knowledgeable and informative. I love that lots of ingredients are sourced from her garden and it's clear to see she has a real passion for food.
I visited the class alone and had such a great time. The cooking class was very hands on and timed perfectly. The dishes we produced were delicious ?
I loved that Sara had hand drawn the front cover of the recipe book she had made for us to take home. A lovely, personal touch ?
If you're thinking of booking, do not hesitate!

First, she brought us to her garden tour & show us the name of the herbs and what are they for. Very good explanation & planning to get mine at balcony. Overall was good & fun. Mentor was so sweet & kind enough of helping her students & mentor's mom showed us of how to chop a chicken. Highly recommended mentor & thank you Sarah β€οΈ
