In short: we got delayed 1,5hrs before going on the boat because of bad planning on their behalf. There was some filming happening and their crew wanted to be part of the filming on another boat resulting in our understaffed boat. After arriving at the dive site the staff realised they FORGOT our and their diving equipment! We'll be back in 30 minutes was their answer and they took off with the boat, leaving us on the island with one staff member. Being there for more than one hour, one this guy told us the dives were cancelled due to lack of time. We understood and accepted the cancellation. After another 1,5hrs (2,5hrs in total!!) the remaining staff arrived with the dive equipment asking us to start the dives. They tossed the bcd's in the boat and the purge-handle came loose, and another bcd had a broken release. We set our minds to going back because we already wasted more than half a day because of their incompetence. They apologised and pushed us to do the dives anyway. We insisted on going back, not feeling comfortable diving with a dive school that lacks organisation, communication and respect for safety because of broken equipment. After they dropped us off we asked the management for a refund but they refused, saying we cancelled the dives. They haven't given us any compensation because they have a "non cancellation policy". Be careful with this dive school, i would avoid them at all cost!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They're official PADI dive center offering various training on diving. They have alot of Dive Master including the youngest in South East Asia, Bob.
Completed Open Water Diver course here and the trainer is very helpful and emphasize the safety side of diving and what to do in the unlikely event of emergency.
Course is conducted professionally. Pool training is done at Greenish Hotel whereas open water sea training is done at Pulau Intan (due to Covid closing down Pulau Payar atvthe time of writing).
Very recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic day with the team of Ninety Nine Island Diver.. With great staff.. Mr Wan, Mr Bob, Mr Hafiz and the Boat Captain (sorry.. Couldn't remember his name) .. Very friendly and very helpful.. We had our great snorkeling session with Mr Wan.. he also become our story teller that day.. With old folks stories .. Really enjoyed spending time with him..
Will come back soon to Langkawi .. For sure with this awesome activities !!!
