β β β β β I had a great lunch over here. New taste & the food really tastiest food i ever taste. My mom really like the sambal for the nyonya laksa. Especially the cendol taste was incredible with gula melaka syrup on top of the cendol. ? the store will open 11 am - 2pm. Amust-eat food whn you visit melaka. NOT TO BE MISSED ??

β β β β β The Nyonya laksa here is good. The cendol is good too. Nasi lemak is like Nyonya MIL's. Very low key place and you might drive pass. Mee Siam not so authentic.

β β β β β Great place for Nyonya food in the courtyard of a house. I enjoyed the Nyonya Laksa while my wife had mee siam and chicken rendang. The laksa and rendang were particularly flavourful. We had Iced coffees which were sufficiently Kaw. Good curry puffs and acar which were packed and eaten later.

β β β β β Hyped by Trevor James like the other gentleman mentioned. I guess if youβre in the area, it isnβt bad to get a bowl of curry laksa and cendol but to make a trip there. Nah. Food wise , itβs good. Chicken rendang was soft and tasty. Curry laksa even in big size wasnβt very full. Lontong not my thing with the rice on the mushy side. The star of the show is the cendol!! Delicious

β β β β β Although this place has the poster/signage of Trevor James of Food Ranger fame, we find this place just average. Guess it was hyped up after Food Ranger's visit. Trevor James is looking for "off-the-beaten-track" kind of food. For that, it's correct, as it is a good neighborhood eateries with varieties of breakfast/lunch choices.
However, do one really need to travel out of town to the suburbs to eat daily breakfast/lunch average food? My answers to foodies who have not tried it, no need to spend the time and effort.
But, if you are in the vicinity i.e after visiting the "Melaka Kapal Selam" (Malacca Maritime Museum), then yes, it's a nice rustic place to have all the available nyonya food in a residential village house settings.
They serve Lontong, Nyonya Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, Chendol, etc.
As for chendol, we have to highlight that it does not seems to be the Melaka type of chendol. Instead its more like the Indian mamak type that is available in other locations in Malaysia. Unless, something was wrong on the day we were there, we did not taste the distinct gula melaka in the malacca chendol.
Verdict:
1) Is it a bad place to eat? No it is not, as they have a wide variety of nyonya food choices.
2) Will I make an effort to go and try? I will not unless I am in the vicinity.
3) Price wise? Reasonably borderline as the food is just average.
4) Environment? Good place to experience a residential setting eating place...really eating in a village house.
