★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made an appointment (on 21.6.2014 afternoon) for 4 girls to have a hair wash and style (for our dear friend's wedding that night). When we arrived, even after making an appointment, they still made us wait for ONE hour.
After one hour in attending all of our appointments, in which we were given a hairwash and styling (slight curling of hair), we went to pay for the services. Over the phone prior to booking the appointment, the receptionist had informed us that a hairwash and style would be in the region of RM40-RM50.
However when we walked up to pay, we had to pay RM70.00 per person! Absolutely ridiculous pricing for the service we received. RM70.00?! Apparently they distinugished the pricing between a hairwash & blow, and curl in which it was an extra RM30.00! It was only a hairwash (which was normal), and normal styling (which for the price we paid, we could have just done it at home). Not only that, one friend didn't bother with having a hairwash as Oh Jun Hair Salon were SO SLOW in attending to her and we were rushing. So they just styled her hair (which is really a short, bob style - jawline length). Guess how much she had to pay? RM50.00!! All they did was tie up her short hair and hairsprayed it. Absolutely disgraceful. All the whilst, the hairstylist was complaining to my friend on how short her hair was. If she was complaining so much, don't even bother doing her hair then - my friend would have gladly asked her to leave her hair alone.
When we tried to reason out the ridiculous pricing with the receptionist (who could not speak English well), she just gave poor excuses that her boss gave that price. In fact, her boss (skinny man, half-bald) was right there and didn't even bother explaining to us. We were clearly feeling upset and angry as we were way overcharged for a hair service which did not warrant that pricing at all. Only after we were sitting down waiting for our last friend to have her hair done, did the receptionist decide to offer us tea. At a high-end salon, this would have been offered while we waited. We are not sure even if Oh Jun Hair Salon is considered high-end, but for the ridiculous pricing that they were charging us, the simplest hair service they provided was definitely not worth it.
Never coming back here again. They are not truthful over the phone (regarding their services), lacking in professionalism (hairstylists & staff should be helpful and accommodating), and they were simply overcharging for a service which was obviously not worth the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very difficult to find the perfect hairstylist however, now I can safely say I have find the right one! I love the fact that Oh Jun is so confident about his recommendation. So far I have never been disapointed. I have been coming here for about more than 4 years and my partner who introduced me to Oh Jun, has been coming here for more than 10 years!
Some points to note:
1. His Korean perm is the best in town. The curls last for more than a year.
2. Listen to his recommendation. He knows how to make you look good. Just let him know your preferred hair length and he will make magic happen.
3. His staff is friendly and efficient. He takes pride in his staff and teaches them how to treat you right and make you feel comfortable.
4. Make an appointment, so you won't be waiting for too long.
Go on and give it a try. Who knows your search for the perfect hairstylist is over :-)
