β β β β β On the 19th of May 2018, I purchased a R868X2-14-X04 massage chair from Setia City Mall Osim outlet. After less than a year, in January 2019, the footrest of chair started to make a loud noise. In January, a technician came to check the chair and confirmed that there is a fault at the footrest. He mentioned that he will order the part to replace and it will come by march 2019. I do not understand why a new model massage chair spare part would take this long to get ordered in.
Secondly, before the Chinese New Year, when my dad was using the massage chair, there was an error message that appeared on the controller and the chair started making a loud noise and the massaging part started to cause pain to my back. So on the 25th of Feb 2019 at 11.45am, I called the Setia Alam Osim outlet to check about the error message and to find out what can be done. The branch manager mentioned she will check and get back to me in 2 days. There was no follow up by your sales team after.
Then I called the service line on the 27th of Feb at 11.50am and the service attendant who also gave me the same response and said she would get back to me in 2 days. I demanded to speak to service department the manager, but the response from the service attendant that he was busy and will get back to me. Until today I have not gotten a response from the branch manager, service attendant nor the service manager.
On the 21st of May 2019, the footrest had finally been fixed but technician had found out that the backrest was faulty upon service. The back rest was replaced a couple of weeks after but however in September 2019, the chairβs backrest is starting to make a loud noise and also hurting my dadβs back when he uses the massage chair. We requested to have the chair exchanged as we would not want to keep going through the whole process of needing parts to be replaced every other month but the request has fallen on deaf ears.
I dont think this is how a leading brand in massage chairs should treat their customers.

β β β β β The outlet atmosphere did not welcoming the guest to try. If we do not try how can we know it is suitable or not? when try, please do not push sales. I am giving 3 stars as the products itself is not bad, I bought one of the products long time ago. In this era, I think the sales strategy should change a little ? We are not all the time confirmed buy only walk to the shop... kalau tak beli, boleh try saja tak ?
The sales assistant that day have nothing wrong, this is the overall problem. Not her problem.
